Why would you expect any different OP? The mount licenses have always been an amalgamation of already existing skin types, and a few new models/skins as the 'chase' skins. The purpose for this is obvious, as the base license is RNG based so they must have filler. We're luck that when the first of these license collections dropped, the backlash over them being RNG exclusive was enough to force Anet to make the select license for those who only want a specific skin.

When are the anniversary sales?

Does this count? -
I would love if they added dye functionality to all/most of the older backpack/glider combos, but I'm not holding out hope.

I don't have anything against the idea, though it would look weird with some of the draw/stow animations.

lfg rework/expansion/ty/community discussion/dungeons.
jwaz.1908 replied to vanguard.8397's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Edit: Original thread got merged so if it's not clear, my response is to Voltaicbore's OP. I agree on both points... ESO's lfg system, while vastly different, automatically teleports all party members into the instance, which is extremely convenient. In regards to TP to friend, they'd still have a place when it comes to open world content (world bosses, metas, jumping puzzles, etc...) As to your second point, the merge option, while very useful at times, can also be easily abused or accidentally misused. Adding a confirmation step for the commander of a squad to allow or deny a merge would be highly beneficial. -
I'd like the new LA if it got flooded by a tsunami sent by the deep sea dragon, and was permanently underwater, perhaps with air pocket bubbles like the gungan city.

Please, buff Hammers and stop favouring Daggers

Focus not good? You're joking... Mesmer focus is amazing everywhere, support tempest uses focus in wvw, scepter/focus dragonhunter in pve... the list goes on. -
I'm really hoping that the dye pack will include the Aurene dyes... I'm not spending 800g for Prismatic but it sure does look nice.

While Tengu and player housing were my top two features I was hoping for, you're theory is just wishful thinking. They've hinted that one of the two will be dragonjade technology related. Also having a playable race as a mastery would be very weird, housing zi could maybe see it but it's unlikely. I am holding a very, very, very small glimmer of hope that Tengu will be a surprise like the Griffin mount was, but it's a Longshot. Also I've conceded that I'll just have to buy the new guild hall with my personal guild as a substitute for a player housing experience in gw2.

They did say during the livestream that the passenger/gunner seat does not require any mastery levels.

My initial reaction was that the Asuran represented the player character, but I may be wrong. EDIT: Nvm while rewatching the livestream they state "who was that mysterious Asura next to Ankha", so can't be the player character.

The tagline of EoD is "Renewing the cycle" , so not sure how Aurene's death would factor into that, unless they plan on replacing every single elder dragon we've killed thus far... which would be moronic at best.

Ascended trinkets have always been in a weird place, since the different types were added to the game separately. Rings were added with the introduction of Fractals of the Mists, along with mystic forge-able backpiece recipes; accessories with the addition of guild missions; and amulets with the achievement rewards rework and introduction of Laurels as a currency. That said, however, I do agree that Jewelcrafting 500 is long overdue.

Stackable Black Lion Salvage Kits please :)
jwaz.1908 replied to FoxyAnaStasia.1264's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
+1 I have a ton of these sitting around in my bank and character inventories, only using them if an exotic drops with a particularly valuable rune or sigil. Perhaps a mystic forge recipe could combine four kits into one with 100 charges. -
Please add fishing. It doesn't have to be amazing.
jwaz.1908 replied to Tatwi.3562's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Not trying to be rude or combative, but your comment is the definition of virtue signaling. Video games have plenty of activities and concepts that are unacceptable in the real world (killing for example), so saying that GW2 shouldn't have fishing because it causes a lot of harm in the real world (only when done en mass) is not a valid argument. Personally I couldn't care less either way if they added fishing or not.- 52 replies

I'm sure players in the process of crafting Aurora will be very grateful, especially when we return to Draconis Mons... fire orchid drop rates are abysmal.

EOD Stream on July 27 has to say something about RAIDS.
jwaz.1908 replied to Nafets.1238's topic in Instanced Group Content
Alliances have been confirmed to launch before EoD, so it's safe to say that WvW is and will be worked on separately of the expansion... with that in mind I agree with OP that EoD should get at least one new raid wing, even though I personally don't participate in such content. -
"Return to" rewards demotivating for skin collectors
jwaz.1908 replied to Konjo.4981's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
I'll gladly take 6 mystic coins over an account-bound (imo aesthetically unpleasing) skin any day. Found out the hard way that they're account bound. -
Can we get an updated version of Nightfury
jwaz.1908 replied to felix.2386's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Totally agree, also make it an infusion while we're at it so I can use it with my Reaper's Halloween costume (Vampire Noble). -
Sounds like server lag, which has been an issue for quite some time now in a variety of maps.
