    My ranger main for OWPvE is Sw/D and LB. I do enjoy the synergy with my pet in melee with Sw/D. Sure, it's not meta or anywhere near an OP build, but I find it fun. /shrug

    Not sure that Anet's business model (or their stakeholders) really factor in customers who are broke and can't afford to pay them for their work and/or to keep the servers running.

    GW2 was not designed to fit a particular meta. Saying that things were designed from the start means that every profession was designed with heal skills so as not have a dependency on a particular profession for healing (no trinity).

    The gryphon was a "surprise" mount and is not required to complete content. The skyscale is a legendary mount and also is not required to complete content. The other PoF mounts are required to complete some PoF content. So, no, it's not moot.

    Some people would like to be notified when another person quotes them in a post. That notification is tied to the emoji notification, so you either get them both or neither.

    Then what would be the point of the skyscale and the OakHeart mastery? If Anet were to develop another mount, I think that it would really need to have something unique about it, not combining talents and masteries that already exist. Actual wall climbing is different than what the skyscale does, but would this suggestion make game play any better? Maybe, maybe not.

    Jackal is my second most used mount behind the skyscale. I hardly find it useless. YMMV

    What?? You have offered exactly zero evidence to support these claims. And as failing to meet hype needed for people to invest their time and money into GW2, I would think that their 9 years running would counter that argument. Plenty of players are investing in GW2 -- certainly enough to satisfy Anet's investors.

    Very excited for this skin, personally. My ranger main uses the tiger pet and has the spirit tiger mini. This completes the set!

    That's not necessarily true for some players. I almost never use the warclaw. My jackal is my second most used mount after my skyscale. Exactly so.

    That's certainly a valid opinion. I disagree. I would prefer that Anet not implement content that forces socialization (or even heavily encourages it). Some of the players I see "socializing" while waiting on a world boss, for example, are people I wouldn't want to socialize with based on the conversations that are sometimes had. No, thank you.
