I totally get that, but then Strike Missions, Raids and other such content might not be for you, and that's 100% okay. Where I have an issue is with the calls to change the difficulty for other content in the game.

You mean in the sense of a costume-brawl type of thing? Because if you're suggesting being able to do this to random players, then no thank you.

Yeah, this was brought up over in this thread and I agree. When players pound out a bunch of level tomes in a row, it is very annoying.

Part of the issue might be where the requests for help are being posted. Posting difficulty with parts of the game in the General Discussion forum is more likely to garner those git gud posts whereas posting in the Players Helping Players forum might offer a better experience. /me shrugs

No one deserves to be mocked. That doesn't help anyone other than the one doing the mocking (it makes them feel superior). It would be better to try to educate rather than mock and, if one cannot do that, then simply don't say anything at all and move on.

Those of us with very small guilds will continually have this problem because of the changes made to the guild system a while back that pretty much penalizes small guilds.

The worst part of this fight, for me (a very casual player) was after completing it I had to listen to Joko's banter ... and then DC'd. I had to run the entire thing all over again.

Unfortunately, ANet decides when things re-appear in the gem store. Your best bet is to post in the requests thread and hope that the item you're looking for is close enough in their rotation that they'll put it back in the store.

We literally just had a new ls episode like a week ago though. That is new content. We can have both. Sure, sure. What about PvP or WvW? Have they received any new content recently? I'm not trying to kitten on anyone's cape-party. I just expressed my personal opinion.

Personally, I am disappointed in this addition because I would rather the resources have been spent on actual content.

This is an extremely misleading and unfair comparison. The difficulty of story bosses is nowhere near T4 fractals and raids. That's the point many of us are trying to make - it's already incredibly easy to beat story bosses without having any special talent for gaming, and struggling with story bosses indicates a broader inability to perform combat in this game, period. I guess this is the consequence of living in a world where it's considered toxic to set norms - people seem to lack a sense of where they are on the spectrum, and conveniently refuse to believe that their level of play is gasp below standard. It does NOT take a gaming superstar with incredible ninja reflexes to beat a story boss. What it does take is the basic ability to learn how combat in this game is structured, and make adjustments to your play accordingly. Below whose standards? Yours or ANet's?
