[6.9.2020] Autotarget Not Autotargeting
Memoranda.9386 replied to Memoranda.9386's topic in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website
that sounds like the typical case of leaving "Right click to interact" enabled. it is very easy to end up switch target when trying to move your camera if you leave it on That did improve the situation, however, for me that has always been enabled by default. It was never a problem before the 6.9.20 patch. -
[6.9.2020] Autotarget Not Autotargeting
Memoranda.9386 replied to Memoranda.9386's topic in Bugs: Game, Forum, Website
If you disable to the setting "Right-click to attack/interact" that seems to help with accidentally selecting allies. Other issues still seem unresolved. -
After the 6.9.20 patch, I noticed that my skills were not targeting correctly. Autotarget and Promote Skill Target are both enabled. No settings have been changed. Symptoms: 1.) Using auto attack will not select a target, even if standing directly in front of any enemy. 2.) Skills 2 - 5 also do not select a valid target if applicable. (Eg., Ranger LB 2 will shoot where you are facing instead of selecting a target. This was most noticable in WvW.) 3.) Can't re-target by using skill 1 (like the baddie I am). 4.) Ground target skills will usually select an ally if present, and deselect the current target. Update 6.15.20: 5.) "Snap Ground-cast to Target Location" becomes broken during combat and will only cast at self-location. Anecdotally, one of my CM group also noticed some sort of discrepancy, as have a few players in map chat when asking if anyone noticed a change or new issues. Anyone here noticed something amiss with autotarget behaving strangely? ========== Update [7.1.2020]: The patch released on 6.24.20 appears to have resolved the majority of players concerns regarding autotarget. If you feel that autotarget is still not working correctly please state why you believe that to be the case, and provide examples of skills/autotarget malfunctioning. Also, if appropriate submit an in-game bug report under the support option in Settings (accessed by hitting the "Escape" key in-game), with as much detail as you can provide.

Why not buy chairs?
-
Where is the warning that the weapons will be upgraded? Note: I haven't yet made either set of weapons.
-
Nothing at the moment. Don't need/want guild decos. Don't use siege that much to buy them, never run low on keys. Have around 75k right now. Hopefully in the next half of the map there will be a worthwhile sink/use for them.

Auto-attacking and profession skills don't seem to work, so you are forced in to using siege, or has been suggested, EMPs.

Inventory Wars getting ridiculous
Memoranda.9386 replied to lezbefriends.7516's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Ever since PoF, and then the Unid Gear system rolling out to the entire game, I have never had a problem with bag space on any character. I've had a few Bag Slot Expanders kicking around that I had intended to use but... Don't need them anymore. On my main FB, I think there's maybe an extra 8-10 slots being used, out of 200 (one of my maxed characters). I usually sit around 40-50 / 200. The situation is far less dire than before, in my opinion. Also, a material expander could solve a lot of problems with mat drops from the loot crates. At least for a while. -
United Legions siege not controllable by owner
Memoranda.9386 replied to Chaba.5410's topic in Living World
Are you certain? I feel like I've had people kick me off siege and have kicked people off my own placed siege. -
Voice acting is nice, but I don't mind reading
Memoranda.9386 replied to mrauls.6519's topic in Living World
What sticks out the most to me is the ambient dialogue. All the little conversations between NPCs that you can miss of you done see the bubbles of chat. Have spotted a few funny interactions so far by walking around more deliberately. Can't wait for the VO work to be done. -
No quarter feedback. (GOOD) [Spoilers] - [Merged]
Memoranda.9386 replied to hugo.4705's topic in Living World
There is an achievement/journal tied to the new Tengu weapons explaining this. -
I disagree on the Essences bring too difficult too collect. Rarely in the new map have I had trouble building and keeping the stacks going. And I certainly don't go about deliberately collecting them. Maybe just play and collect them as you going?

Frost Legion laughable: did you forget Aurene?
Memoranda.9386 replied to lezbefriends.7516's topic in Living World
Aurene stated in Frost & Fire that she was more or less sitting this one out to avoid a direct conflict, and therefore, mass destruction on Tyria. -

It's very WvW-esque. You need coverage and organization to succeed, and I think that's fine. I enjoyed it this far. -
Profanity in this episode's character dialogue
Memoranda.9386 replied to Alecu.4786's topic in Living World
I agree. Even though it was fairly quick, I enjoyed the dialogue quite a bit, and am very excited for audio to be added. -
It's not too late to help commit a war crime, though.

After reading through the salt here, should something of this nature occur again, I really do hope ANet give nothing to anyone. From the Terms of Service, section 10 (b) You acknowledge that Service may be interrupted for reasons within or beyond the control of ArenaNet, that ArenaNet cannot and does not guarantee You will be able to use the Game or any Account whenever You wish to do so, that ArenaNet will interrupt the Service on a regular basis for purposes of maintenance or updates and may do so without providing You with notice before such interruption, and that ArenaNet may provide subsequent versions, enhancements, modifications, upgrades or patches related to the Game that You must accept and/or install before You will be able to use the Game. Stuff breaks all the time. Rarely, if ever, did companies ever offer any compensation because access isn't always guaranteed. Hell, ANet doesn't even take the game down for maintenance weekly / for patches, which is great. I'm not getting anything, and that's how it goes.

The Icebrood Saga Continues May 26!
Memoranda.9386 replied to Fire Attunement.9835's topic in Living World
Truly the standout moment of the trailer. Looks like quite a bit of stuff to do. Pretty excited for this release. -
For an in-game solution type "/wiki name-of-dye-kit". e.g., /wiki victorious dye kit This will pull open a browser page with the dyes available for selection from the dye kit as we well their associated trading post cost, if that helps you decide.

What's with glitched weapon drop rate?
Memoranda.9386 replied to Floppy.4936's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Rng is random. Once you understand that you don't go oh did they stealth nerf rng because now my random rng is bad. No one comes here when they beat rng and get 3 outta 6 one day going did they stealth increase drop rates? It's only when you hit the random cold streak and then need to see if others are on a random cold streak to feel better. It does "feel" somewhat adjusted. My friend group and I do glitched chests daily, probably 20 in total, and none of us have gotten a weapon drop in 4 days, whereas the first few days we had over 20 drops collectively. In summation: aliens. Yeah or you can go the conspiracy route some are now. Of course that won't explain the 2-45 and 0-32 in the thread who somehow missed out on the high drop rates at the beginning before the "ninja nerf" that most likely didn't happen and if it did we will never get confirmation onI blame the Choya miners.
