I love this idea! I wish we could set up macros in gw2 like we do in FF14.

HFB tank is a very nice option. If you enjoy playing support, I cannot recommend it enough.

Wait what? There are multiple FC groups running everyday on EU! Are you playing on NA where the game is ded or sth? Never played there, but I've heard it's very much alive too.

I think with the next xpac coming at some point, they might be going for a while longer. We already know that FF14 is supposed to go on for at least 9-10 years more, I don't think that WoW is going away anytime soon (regardless of my opinion on the gameplay). Why wouldn't Anet try that with GW2? It is somewhat successful.

Uhm, they are not limited to fractals. You can get them from raid, wvw AND pvp merchants.

Are you sure it would prove them otherwise? We don't have a data (inaccurate) that would confirm either. I would say that part of community is probably not that visible cuz they hide in instanced content with their statics. ppl say that dungeons are ded cuz lfg is empty... they don't know the secret technique of opening own group that fills up very quickly xD Steam release should bring some data.

The question is: how many chefs do you have on your account? I have only 1 and I use passes for crafting anyways. I tend to tag some content, for that reason alone it feels worth it.

One could say even two JPs! Let's take moment to appreciate all the mesmers helping people across whole Tyria with their ports. Also, in general they gave us a way to skip some chievs by doing other ones for the Return. Not sure about Grothmar specifically, but you could skip some time costly stuff in there.

The fact that in many groups we can simply outdps certain mechanics -> looking at fractals, strikes AND raids, means that we really need to bring the overall group dps down... I remember the good days when groups had to use updraft on Gorseval...

1) Guardian 2) Praise Firebrand 3) I would go after the utility side of the spec. Juggle some boons around, maybe put them more into the tomes, since they have longer cooldown after you go out of the tome. We're just a boon factory with two types of abilities that are instants (shouts and mantras). I would slap the support build pretty hard -> HFB to be specific.

Even with all the unique buffs we could stack before to raise the sub-group stats, most of the classes didn't see much play. E.g. BS was in every pug group when I started raiding. Recently, we don't really bother adding one. It seems just more efficient to grab a EoD dps class for that spot. Even with the boons spread across the classes, I wouldn't expect much to change. It's funny how ppl asked for FB nerf and instead of utility, patch is slightly hitting the dps build. HFB survived another patch 🙂

I would start with finishing the story and playing the c**p out of the meta events. Echovald is a solid pick I think. Kaineng should be nice xp too, since there are a bunch of events you need to complete for meta.
