  1. GW1 wiki is still there and is incredibly detailed due to how old the game ishttps://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Tyria_(world)
  2. World boss portal device. Seemed like a great idea, but every time the little notification comes up I’m like, nah, don’t feel like doing that boss for the hundredth time.
  3. Finished up the skyscale rifts achieve In pof and ls4. There’s one rift in dragon fall that is 100+ motes = 250k xp.
  4. Which is a bit silly because you can craft them for about 25 gold, but markets will be markets.
  5. In short, yes. Costs you 1 gold + VM. You can sell the t5s to recoup ~ 17 silver at current prices. You'll be left with 8 t6 mats at a net cost of 83 silver+ VM, or 10 .4 silver/per t6. The avg TP price of all of the different t6 is about 18.5 silver, so you generally come out ahead. You can toggle detailed view here https://gw2lunchbox.com/IstanShipments.htmlThe column total adjusted to drop rate on the front gives you an idea of the comparable value of what you get if you're going to use the mats.
  6. I had the bug too. Until it gets fixed, it's doable on reaper too by using the death shroud charge and trident 3 on cooldown for the underwater parts. I had +16 swim infusion, but with town speed boost, I think +10 is enough to max swim speed.
  7. A bit out of the box - try tool kit and run Tools as your initial specialization. In tool kit, the wrench and pry bar are a bit slow, but they hit hard. You get gear shield for a long duration block, 2 seconds on a 13 second cooldown if you take the power wrench trait. The permanent swiftness with kit refinement will go a long way towards speeding things up until you get the raptor. When combined with the cripple from the wrench autos you can kite as needed if things get hairy. But they shouldn't, because with easy access to vigor (which also gives 10% dmg boost with minor trait) and adrenal implant you get dodges for days. Or you can take AED and just facetank stuff, relying on the "on death" AED trigger to heal you up and give you a second life. When leveling characters I like to use stuff that is underutilized at level 80, just for the fun factor. Getting to prybar things in the face every 10 seconds is my kind of fun.
  8. All info is here under exclusive colors heading: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Dye Just Charr, lions arch rebuild, and Norn left as unrepresented. Unless they go with the BL exclusive red green blue ones too.
  9. This is truth. Prybar legion is legendary. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/engineer/The-TANKCAT-build-Prybar-some-faces
  10. I mainly roam and happily fight 1v2 or 1v3, with lots of camp defending and general harassment, so I like no downstate. I can sort of see both sides of the argument in larger battles though.I'd be happy with:-No more rally off of guards. This is the primary reason that I like having no downstate-Full dead = wp. At least if a smaller force is getting a few full kills they can whittle down the larger one, possibly intercept returning fighters, etc. instead of just having a few OoC people rez up the kills and keep the zergball rolling.
  11. Easy, get gear with https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shaman%27s prefix. The gear is called "Shaman's", indicating that it belongs to a Shaman. The gear is also yours. Ergo, you are now a Shaman.
  12. Sandswept. Ticks so many boxes. Variety of scenery. Has a "chain-type" meta. Various inquest shenanigans and some unique events (e.g. fishing and 3-golem monte) and heart stuff (magnetics lab). Has a loot fiesta meta with decent boss fight. Map offers tons of unique loot, from the inquest skins to the hydra head minis that give you a reason to come back and try to get them all. Related to - reasonably fun bounties. Plenty of stuff to gather, with decently valuable stuff all around the map. Volatile magic and karmic ret drops that mean you can just do whatever and kill stuff and you'll at least get some guaranteed profit. Access to ascended trinkets and 20-32 slot bags. Puzzles. Arguably the best heart vendor item - prototype position rewinder.
  13. I'm having similar intermittent framerate drop behavior in wvw, notably leaving blue spawn in Desert BL towards Crankshaft Depot and then near air keep whenever there is one of those little "updraft bounce boxes" with the air blowing out of it. Fights and everything else away from these couple of spots are super smooth, but fps cratered consistently at those spots. Today was first time ever having issues. Temp and load and everything else seemed fine.
  14. Mesmer is solid choice.https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Vilnia_Shadowsong as is Necromancerhttps://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Jhavi_Jorasdottir
  15. No. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/WvW_Reward_Track#Reward_track_modifiers
  16. That statistic is wrong. More like 72.5% of 400h+ players have MORE than 100g (just wallet gold). https://gw2efficiency.com/account/statistics/statistics.gold
  17. I went ahead and updated my wiki page. I'm working on more data with just the guild boost, but don't have a lot yet. As best I can tell from the nodes where I have a good amount of data: The buffs do increase the chance to "double strike" and get two logs from one swing when you hit a tree. For all of the tree nodes this chance seems to go from about 6.5% with no buffs to somewhere in the 7.5-8.5% range. I think it influences cinnamon and walnut drops, but need more data to confirm. The gem bags are rare enough that I can't really tell statistically, even from 2k swings. The buff does not appear to have any influence on any of the LS3 nodes. I got the same number of winterberries with and without buffs. I expect it holds for the LS4 nodes too - I did difluorite, I'm not doing mistonium. Metal nodes the jury is still out - copper and iron suggest a potential effect on number of gemstones with data thus far, mithril and platinum had no apparent effect. Plants - the buffs seem to increase the drops of the scribing materials (piece of mother of pearl, flax fiber) and possibly flax blossom, pearls, and the subject Maguuma Lilies, but again, the drop rates are so low for these that waaayy more data is needed for significance. I'd hypothesize that they influence the pigment drops too, but have not tested and have zero data to back that up.
  18. I'll probably end up only playing this map in the same way that I play Dragon Stand - if I can get lucky and sneak into one that is halfway done. A 2+ hour meta is ridiculous.
  19. Black Diamond prices dropped more than a year(April 2016 vs September 2017) before PoF came out which was probably before PoF was even announced. What you are remembering might be the spike in price caused by PoF and then later went back down again after demand went back to normalhttps://www.gw2tp.com/item/76491-black-diamond?full=1 What actually increased their supply was this patch https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Game_updates/2016-04-19Unfortunately one of the things that made Black Diamonds cheap is also the reason why Freshwater Pearls and Maguuma Lilies are still expensive. For some reason(maybe they wanted to keep pearls and lilies exclusive to gathering?) they added Black Diamonds to Airship Cargo, Exalted Chest and Crystallized Cache loot instead of pairing them up with the recipe sheets. The more logical loot table would be adding Freshwater Pearls to Airship Cargos, Black Diamonds to Exalted Chests and Maguuma Lilies to Crystallized Caches. There was also ABML which results in a lot of Exalted Chests being opened, each with a chance to drop a Black DiamondI have some Pearl data on my personal wiki page: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/User:Thehipone They're about 1%.I need to update it and get to lily farming for a bit, but I expect Lilies to also be 1%.A fun note - flax blossoms just as rare as pearls and lilies in terms of drop chance when gathering flax. Except Vigilant stats are no good and there are flax farms, so the blossoms sit at amalgamated forging value.
  20. Wow, that's bad. Thank you for your sacrifice. This is super lazy. There's so much stuff that could have gone in there. Just off the top of my head:-a bag of assorted lodestones (the ones that you can use to make amalgamated draconics) (repeatable)-some shards of jormag blood, or maybe a icebrood corruption tonic or two (repeatable)-A selectable dominion weapon (non repeatable)
  21. Did you buy the generic Charr Commendations? Or the legion specific ones, which are the cheaper option, but only go to one particular legion? Could be a bug where they only go to the "southern" legions too.https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/United_Legions_Quaestor
  22. I love it and use it as my primary lounge and crafting spot. Had the added bonus that you sometimes log on to blitz or piñata in progress for gemstone.
