No, 1g costs 6 astral tokens,. You get 10 astral tokens per daily. 

The very minimum change that needs to occur is that the original 2g gold should be automatic, not 1g. I also don't think buying gold should be a purchasable reward

In terms of reward and difficulty it pretty much seems to be the same. That WvW weekly is just a few hours. 

I am mostly amused that it's so clearly inspired by mobile games. Click everything, dinging sound, warning that you need to open it, flashy visual for those clicks. I mean it's tiny in the interface, but it's there. I honestly laughed.

I imagine they are using dailies to solve a problem players have complained about- some parts of the game not having many people around. If the dailies catered to how we all play, we'd all continue to not do those things. Instead, it sounds like dailies are designed to herd us towards various places (everyone's dailies are different) so lots of different parts of the game feel more alive.

Not saying Im remotely looking forward to doing things like escorting 10 dolyaks, but I guess I get it lol

And don't get me started about the WvW weeklies: Obsidian Sanctum JP, defend 10 objectives and escorting 10 dolyaks. How bored do you have to be to escort 10 dolyaks? Three terrible ones and the fourth just happens as you play: defeat 10 invaders.

Are they different for everyone as well?

If this was indeed changed to circumvent log in bots, it looks to be yet another thing that will harshly punish regular players.  I'm so sick of sacrificing my experience because of this excuse.

Thats weird because I picked pve dailies on 4 acounts and they were all the same. So I think as long as you pick the same you should have the same? Maybe you dont have same expansions? Idk

 

The fact that first daily is vista in new xpac area is just stupid though.

Edit: And even worse is that you dont even always get what you pick. Atleast I didnt. So if you pick all 3, you can still only get pvp and wvw for example. Not to mention that you cant pick 4 from lets say 6. You get 4 and you have to do those.

Daily vista in the new xpac area? You mean weekly, right? Otherwise dailies are different from player to player.

These sound like guild missions a lot, so at least you'll be able to double up on some of them. Sounds like guild missions are now more rewarding too.

Defend ten objectives sounds torturous given how crappy defend events are in WvW right now. 

Sounds like this new system is a serious regression. Yikes.

You get 1g, luck and some AA if you do all 4 dailies. So atleast that is kinda automatic,  though you still have to click on the chest in daily tab.

Funny, huh. My current ones are: Log in, finish mini-dungeon in Seitung, get 3 combo skills and dodge 3 attacks. So they are different, depending on something.

That means you had only pve ones right? I had all pve/wvw/pvp selected. And had this vista, sentry and team battle in pvp.

Yeah, only PVE ones, and I own every expansion too. But by the sound of it, you do as well. Well, hopefully we will learn how it works in a bit, so far all of it is exactly the same as it was before :'D

Yes I own them all aswell, so I think it depends what modes you select. If its totally random for everyone then I can not explain why I had exactly same dailies on 4 accounts with only base game. Sounds like too big of coincidence.

The new dailies are worse than I imagined. Changing the rewards to a unnecessary currency would have been bad enough.

But taking away the freedom of choice on which three dailies to do just is terrible.

If they wanted to cut down the number of people logging in daily, they succeeded.

And my one pve weekly: ident 100 unident gears... is this a joke? For the dolyaks and defending Ill need at least 30minutes or more (likely more on the defense because they changed it a while back to repairing not anymore counting, and neither do failed defends)

But it is weekly right? Its really not that bad if you do wvw regularly or if you play with a guild. If you dont then its better to dont pick wvw I guess.
