Lithril Ashwalker.6230 Posted January 24 Share Posted January 24 (edited) how about fixing the invalid path for shadowsteps within wvw and the rest of the game while you're at it?! its been what....7 years since the last project or attempt at it?!mostly RIGHT at the gates/stairs can you NOT shadowstep a short distance because apparently 3 inch raised wooden floors prevent it....cmon dude. clarification on why it was put here in this thread: why push new updates without bugfixing? EA pushed released on a game and when you got inside it was not even finished and you fell through the floors...point being....WHY when you got bugs and exploits!? Watercamp for example is full of this kitten and there is so many skills that is not casting or going through because unvalid path and a grasstraw was in the way. kash.9213 Posted January 29 Share Posted January 29 (edited) SMC downed walls and SM inner curbs on either side of the hallways make healing and support tricky. Shadowsteps just aren't going to work some places and I don't think those places will get fixed. Not a huge deal though unless your people are bunched up on those spots and you can't avoid them. Some non Shadowstep animations like Flanking Strike can scale some of that stuff with a little air time mid starting frame if you Jump or Dodge-Jump+Skill but the inertia from Jump into Skill has to be timed right, like sending a Bound dodge or dodge through Infiltrators Arrow. I've flown off walls doing that though since the wall curbs can't hold you in when you're up in the air so it's a gamble and it can be a waste of Endurance if it was also a dodge.
