ArenaNet Staff Popular Post Rubi Bayer.8493 Posted August 2 ArenaNet Staff Popular Post Share Posted August 2 We've been reading your feedback about the Eldritch Horror Gathering Tools included with the Deluxe, Ultimate, and Digital Deluxe Upgrade editions of Guild Wars 2: Janthir Wilds and want to share that we're working on an update. Earlier this year we updated all cosmetic unlimited gathering tool sets in the gem store to include Black Lion Glyph Selection Containers, and we want the Eldritch Horror Gathering Tools to meet that new standard as well. Beginning with the August 20 game update, all players who have Eldritch Horror Gathering Tools will be able to visit a Black Lion Exchange Specialist at any of these locations to exchange them for a version that includes the glyph selection containers. Players who purchase the Deluxe, Ultimate, or Digital Deluxe Upgrade editions of Janthir Wilds after the August 20 game update will automatically receive three glyph selection containers with the Eldritch Horror Gathering Tools. Any chance that these tools could be included in this standard? And if so, can we exchange them for choosey box versions. TheQuickFox.3826 Posted August 2 Share Posted August 2 Nice, I already was a bit disappointed about there being no glyph and I bought the Elemental tools instead so I can get Unbound magic bonus with my harvesting. I love this set, but that logging tool skin is almost unusable because of the bug that makes you only gather two times instead of three about a third of the time, so you end up having to gather at trees twice. HotDelirium.7984 Posted August 3 Share Posted August 3 Maybe in the future we can get a Glyph of Stacking xD because some glyphs are a bit more lucrative and useful than others but if you stack them the other ones could get some use. ANET would know in the system which glyphs players are using the most. It wouldn't surprise me if the majority of players are using certain glyphs predominantly. Would be nice if the rest of the infinite tools that didn't have glyphs also get this treatment. So as Linken said these were just skins to me and the skins unlock as soon as they arrive in inventory so they were just taking up space. That said, I can give you a little spoiler about the August 20 game update: All cosmetic unlimited gathering tool sets--with glyph selection containers included--will be back in the gem store on August 20. Do you think we could get some of the new tools that are part of a pack separately (without the selectable glyph obviously) at a discount maybe? Like some of the older tools that came before the glyph system that are without a glyph and not part of a set? I like some of the newer tools that come in a set but I'm not in need of all of them and the price is a bit steep for a complete set when I only want one or two pieces. Just thought I'd ask.
