  1. Is it with trailblazer as well or viper now?
  2. Hello! Which spec and build would you recommend for the open world PvE? 🙂
  3. The game is far from dead. The world is alive and populated and there are plenty of people doing all kinds of content in all the zones from what I have seen.
  4. As others have said, the core zones are pretty easy, but the difficulty ramps up in the living world seasons and the expansions. The open world will never be a serious challenge because it is meant to be accessible to all kinds of players, but I would personally say that the difficulty of the lvl 80 content is decent enough, especially if you are playing solo. 🙂
  5. I would say it is very much worth it! It is not required or even necessary for anything, but it is a very convenient and good-looking mount. 🙂
  6. I am personally happy with GW2 being free to play. It is an MMO that respects my time, and I do not think that a sub would make it better. I would actually argue it would be the opposite. WoW has a sub, and yet current it is in a terrible state. A sub does not guarantee quality content anymore these days unfortunately, as WoW has shown.
  7. I am personally very much hyped for the upcoming expansion. Both HoT and PoF were great in my opinion, and I can't wait to see what Cantha will bring. The Devs know this is one of the most anticipated things for many players, so I am confident that they will deliver a great expansion. 🙂
  8. Of course we need this section. It is a great place for more enthusiast to discuss the story and potential developments of the future plot lines. Even though the current development has been somewhat underwhelming, I'm sure there are still plenty of interesting and rich storylines for us and I can't wait to see what they'll have to offer.
  9. I'm sure the new continent will blow us all away. This is likely being a long time in the making, so I'm pretty sure that the zones will be amazing and that the story will be pretty solid. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us!
  10. I personally think he's very much likely to become the de facto leader of the Renegades after this. He was already the charr version of Caudecus, and now that he's no longer imperator, he can actually assume a full-time role in leading the Renegades.
  11. I understand the frustration regarding Jormag dying, but why is Primordus dying such a big deal to everyone? Sure, it's been around since EotN, but let's face it, it's literally just a feral, dumb animal at its core. It's hard if not impossible to make a compelling and long-lasting villain out of something like that. Eventually it just had to go in order to open up room for more stories and plotlines. And considering that it couldn't die without Jormag dying along with it, they had to go down together. I do agree that the way they both died was rushed though. There should have been an epic battle between them while we fought to stop Braham and Ryland and stabilize the leylines. Still, I personally don't think that them both dying at the same time was a bad idea. I hope their death will open up new possibilities for the story and bring about many new interesting stories and plots that the writers will be able to explore and present to us. This might have been a terribly rushed ending, but there's still time to fix things and make the most of what is there.
  12. While the ending indeed felt rushed, I don't think it was something catastrophically bad or unsalvageable. The death of Jormag and Primordus opens up many paths for potential stories and plots. I just hope the writers will make the most of this opportunity.
  13. I suspect he'll be out of the picture for a while now that he's fulfilled his destiny and forged his legend. His story is pretty much over for the time being.
  14. I love the new forums! Great job! The only thing that'd make them perfect for me would be the night mode. 😀
  15. I personally don't have any issue with any of the maps. I enjoy Core, HoT and PoF maps for different reasons. Though I personally find the HoT maps to be my favorite, because they're so complex and innovative! And with mounts and gliders they're pretty easy to explore as well nowadays. :)
  16. I think we was a pretty ok character. I also don't see the reason to hate him. He never really stole any of the spotlight or glory. He was handling the logistics while we were doing the killing. I do think that it was a bit weird at how suddenly he appeared and instantly got named the Pact marshal, but that's because he lacked sufficient backstory regarding his ties to the orders. But overall he was likable enough in my opinion.
  17. I feel that the story has been losing consistency over the past few years, and I hope that the writers take the player feedback seriously and try to keep things more in line. WoW writers utterly failed with that, and now the story is a joke. I really don't want the same to happen with Guild Wars 2.
  18. It's impossible to choose only one, but if I have to, then it'd definitely be the mounts. I've never seen a mount system as awesome as the one in Guild Wars 2. I love each of the mounts, especially the raptor. 10/10 mount system.
  19. Pros: -Story is pretty solid. Aside from few scenes which are kinda disappointing, I found it pretty fun to play and it left me wanting to find out more. -Mobs are great. Not too difficult, not too easy. A nice balance. Love the hydras. -Masteries are easy and fun to get, you don't need a whole truckload of them for one skill and the mastery XP is not tedious to get. -Mounts are awesome. I love how each of them is unique in its own way, with different skills and uses. And they look great too. -Maps are big, detailed and immersive. Everything feels coherent, the desert actually is teeming with activities and you really get the feel of it with the music. -Events are fun. Neutral: -Bounties are fun, but I don't know, I think they could offer better rewards. I mean, we are killing some pretty nasty creatures. I really like renegade, but I feel that the energy cost could be a bit toned down. Personally, I am not a fan of energy/cooldown combo, but having lower energy costs would at least ease the problem imo. -Hearts are mostly fun, but I feel like they are missing something. Maybe a temporary buff or something similar? Cons: -No giant zone-wide meta events in any of the PoF maps. HoT meta events were really fun and they gave a lot of longevity to the content, as is evidenced by the relevancy of the content even today. Maybe they could have been player-triggered instead of being on a timer, but overall I think having one in at least one of the maps would be good. Overall, pretty fun expansion. As a casual player I don't regret buying it and it always gives me something fun to do. 8/10] Hoping that LS4 will continue on these improvements and be just as good. o/
