  1. Third day in a row, serious server lag issues in The Desolation.
  2. Probably a RAM issue. Run a memtest just to be sure but most likely you will have to replace the faulty module.
  3. Ok, but what would the icon display?Maybe the word HARD with big red letters.Or maybe STRONK. Maybe just the letter 'S' would do.There should also be a title,maybe? 'Not as stronk as me' or 'Try harder,I did' , you get the idea.
  4. What they mean is that there is no progression after lvl 80.And they are right. Collecting gear skins and achievements is not progression.Most MMO players are not used to playing content for the sake of content.GW2 is a content heavy but progression light game.And whatever progression there is it's handed to the player almost instantly.Removing the gear treadmill is half the story. The rest is what you fill in that void with,while avoiding the grind, and that Anet has not been able to answer yet.Maybe the new masteries will help a bit on that matter.
  5. In no particular order Separate volume slider in the audio settings for story cinematic scenes. Option to automatically disable miniatures during story instances and cinematics. Option to turn off the auto completion of puzzles after x amount of failures during story instances. Separate minis for land and underwater. Where applicable,include the name of the attribute combination in the item tooltips. Option to disable dismount warnings. Visible borders in the map/mini map for areas where mounts are not allowed(like in WvWvW). Include height when defining no mount areas in the world. Disable item tooltips while in dyes mode. Advanced player markers and notes function for the world map. Option to disable the audible notification upon entering a unfinished heart area. More than one situational ability button / Or include the arrow menu selector on top of the button to enable the player to override the automatic skill selection. Option to reset all buffs (except food/boosters/utilities) and skill cooldowns in the training areas. Direct bindable key shortcuts for all the Hero Panel sub windows. Bindable key toggles for interactable objects and name plates. Reduce the brightness intensity of the UI flashing for unselected traits and skills. Include previews for all the available skills in game. Reorganise the skills preview window accordingly. If necessary separate the weaponskills unlock/previews from the builds window since weapon skills are not selectable via that UI. Make all active mount abilities visible in the mount action bar. Option for slim XP bar with dimmer brightness. Option for a smaller font for the scrolling combat text independent of the general UI size settings. Change the skill count recharge from white to bright yellow. Icon over collectable Ranger pets for players that prefer to play with nameplates off. Normalise the completion time requirements across all heart quests. Neither too fast nor too slow as is the case with many of those atm. Reduce aggro range for enemies in post S3 maps. Reduce the abundance and the attack range of anti mount projectile attacks in post S3 maps.
  6. At least that story instance does not include obligatory walking, like the last two episodes of season 4. Also it's all your fault for not joining Joko.
  7. You need to git gud at playing the LFG. Simply a l2p issue. Once you do you will smell the right groups and maps to join like a blood hound quaggan hunting for dolyak bacon.
  8. With the risk of waking up too many players from the matrix and driving weapon skin prices up, as other posters here have already suggested, have you tried purchasing the weapon skin you want from the TP for in game gold?
  9. The Scourge Shade change did make a difference,it is a solid step in the right direction.And as a bonus the class is now more fun to play,I hope more changes like this are in the works.

Legendary weapon awakening.No numbers differentiation from Ascended.No additional materials or gold needed.A unique combat encounter per weapon,of advanced difficulty,that the player has to overcome while using the Legendary weapon and that weapon only.No weapon swap available during that fight.Unlocks a unique per Legendary weapon ability that ties to the theme/lore.The ability has a long cooldown,at least 240 sec.Available in PvE and WvW.Locked in sPvP.Unlocks an additional sigil slot.Can't attach any of the existing sigils.Create a new set of sigils that can occupy only this slot.No flat damage/duration/stat modifiers.Only utility type of effects with caution to add flavour but not extra cheese.

Bad idea.It provides unfair advantages and bypasses the investment and limitations of committing to one stat combo or the other..If someone wants the Regeneration they steal to tick more they can invest in Healing Power.Same for conditions returned.If they want the conditions they send back to tick high they should invest in Condition Damage.

I wouldn't hold my breath for that either.It seems they need at least 2 more years of development before they produce something presentable to the wider audience besides their backers.Unless they stumbled upon a money tree you are stuck with GW2 WvW for the foreseeable future.Hope this was helpful.

  14. All of the above and more.Mix and match.Everything and anything.This game has so many possible builds and so few of them are actually being used that it's sad.I only use 'meta' stats for fractals.The open world is all fun like it was meant to be.
  15. That doesn't help us because, unless I missed it, we still cannot self-shatter on chronomancer. Also, Firebrand can give out quickness every time it gives out Aegis.... You need to rework chronomancer wells, as previously mentioned: Please no more pulsing around the player AoE fields.These should be sparse and few in between.They are very disruptive abilities with almost no counter play and also produce way too much visual noise in a game that is already plagued by it.What I'd prefer to see is a comprehensive rebalancing of boons in relation to the classes that apply them with build diversity in mind.Diversity is achieved when each class brings something unique and useful to the table not when every class is exactly or almost the same.

The comment about barrier and alacrity at the the very start of the patch notes signifies part of what needs to be improved in GW2 with regards to class design and specifically class separation and uniqueness.Unfortunately the trend seems to be homogenising the classes in terms of impact and applied effects to the highest degree possible and differentiate them only on a epidermic - visuals and animations - basis. With regards to PvP and WvW the usual elephant in the room.Time to kill has to increase in order for the combat mechanics of the game to become apparent and enjoyable.Sometimes I think that simply decreasing damage output-especially on basic/auto attack skills would do wonders for the quality of combat in GW2.Then there would be room for better balancing some of the over tuned defences that were created as a result of the damage arms race.Not an easy goal to achieve when in PvE mode classes play more like they belong in a hack and slash action RPG but hey....

What I really hear is that at some point it was decided to focus solely on LW style episodic content-now called a saga-and not develop expansions any more.Now that the decision is made players will have to live with it for the foreseeable and not so foreseeable future.End of the story.I really hope they aimed right on this one and it all ends up well for GW2.But(t)-this no expansion model has already been attempted and tried and failed.It nearly drove the game to the ground.Hope dies last...but All is Vain.

Let's see.Without that trait a Scourge has to manage and cast 3 different fields.This adds time and complexity restrains on the class.The field around the Scourge it self is still too much,it should be at least that when there is an active Shade cast,the auto Shade around the player is deactivated.Now enter Sand Savant.Instant access to everything.All the buffs related to Shades.No build up time.No managing of fields.Well that's the very definition of "balance" in PvP related content isn't it?Taking away complexity and adding efficiency.Or maybe not?I'm a bit confused and it seems I'm not the only one.All is Vain.
  20. no this is different because this idea is just a 4 wall structure that can be built and placed as long as its not near another outpost/structure. Has its own revive system and can be totally destroyed. Towers are permanent structures that provide points and can be captured. Outpost cant be captured. They are owned by the faction that made them. You are still describing what is essentially a tower. It's like saying that we need a new type "mine" where NPCs goes and gather "minerals" to bring to structures in order to upgrade them and players have to defend the mine and escort NPCs. An entirerly different mechanic akin to resource gathering in RTS games? No, it's the same thing as camps. Its placed just like a open field siege is placed and built. Also unlike those, it provides a unique revive mechanic. And your RTS analogy makes no sense here. This functions just like any Open Field Siege would expect being a Treb or Catapult, this is a Outpost composed of 4 Walls and upgrades to provide more defense. You can capture a Tower or Camp. Outpost cant be captured. Thats how its different. Just like Trebs and Siege weapons cant be captured and used by enemy, same with outpost. Again, Objectives (Towers and Camps) can be captured. Totally different. What open field?The current maps are not large enough for this and the structure of WvW or the complete absence of it is not tailored towards such features.Maybe start with more humble and simple changes like ...oh I don't know .....maybe not being able to attack SM from the safety of a Keep especially when that's possible for only 1 of the 3 available keeps.The trick with WvW is to aim small miss big and expect nothing other than more WXP and questionable loot.
  21. The dismount button is located on the action hot bar exactly to the right of the elite skill and right above the novelties epic button to end all buttons,exactly where the mount button is when you are not mounted.It is only visible when you are already mounted.I hope this was helpful.
  22. On the contrary,the live stream was most useful to the viewer.Indeed it was simply a live LW episode announcement with a big butt countdown timer.But on the other hand it was truly enlightening on why the game is in the state that it is.

Encountered the exact same issue a couple of days ago.I could enter the authenticator code just fine in the launcher but in the account login authenticator code box,at the site,only 5 digits could be entered.I also got a error message at the top of the web page(on firefox) "some fields are invalid please fix them".I tried various browsers just to be sure.I then contacted support to report the bug,they ended up disabling 2 factor authentication on my account.Afterwards,the first time I tried to enable 2 factor authentication again I could insert the full verification code,all 6 digits,but I still got the error message(the message appeared only on firefox,the other browsers I used appeared to simply stall).Then for some reason(voodoo or aliens) the problem vanished and I was able to go through the process.Now everything works fine again both on the site and the launcher.
