We hate people who care the most and put a lot of effort into completing "challenging" content in this game. Everything in the past 2 years points to Anet making the game easier and opened to more casual audience. No big mystery here.

Please release EoD a 25th Friday

How about delaying it by couple of weeks instead of releasing it during the most busy month for gaming in 2022? -
The new White Tiger skins are AWESOME
Krzysztof.5973 replied to Mungo Zen.9364's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Well... they definitely look better than upcoming gen3 ☺️ -
Over-the-top skin with special effect makes a weapon legendary. What makes new gen legendary? Unique skin for every type of weapon. What if somebody does not like the design of a hammer of upcoming gen3? Well too bad, all of them will look the same so you end up not liking entire set of 16 weapons instead of just one weapon. Why personally detest this new gen3 is the looks of recently added skins for gems. They could easily make better legendary weapons than ... whatever we are getting. If legendary weapons were never about looks, why don't we have skinless versions in the game?

Anet can't do much better in scaling department without excluding large portion of the openworld crowd. Some people think it would be better if we were rewarded accordingly for our efforts towards world boss / meta event or whatever. As of right now, in AB for example, you get pretty much exact same reward if you spent 15 min doing the entire meta just as somebody who came in last hitting the octovine for couple of seconds. If we were to change that, open world would no longer be so relaxed and chill experience for majority of the playerbase.

Prestige items GW2 vs other MMOs
Krzysztof.5973 replied to Balsa.3951's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
This thread has been an amazing read. I've been lurking the forums for years but god (insert kitten here), I have never seen so many horrible takes on prestige in any game. It has been eye opening. Gw2 community never stops surprising 😄 -
Hard Mode suggestions for everyone from everyone :)
Krzysztof.5973 replied to moony.5780's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Making this game harder and forcing its playerbase to become better is toxic and elitist (or so I've heard) 🙃- 52 replies

Blog about upcoming strike missions and their CMs

Judging how "good" was the content of the past 2 years I disagree that it is silly to be disappointed. -
Blog about upcoming strike missions and their CMs
Krzysztof.5973 replied to mythical.6315's topic in Instanced Group Content
What excuses are we going to come up with this time? Right after W7 release I made a thread saying that CMs are too easy. And what responses did I receive? That it's great that they are so easy, It's gw2 after all right? Every single piece of content is dumbed down so the so called "casuals" are contempt with what they're getting. The only piece of content I would be somewhat excited to be waiting for, not even there on EoD release. I wonder if there is even gonna be any incentive to repeat those strike CMs... -
Are raids really gone in EoD?
Krzysztof.5973 replied to Xanadrine.4352's topic in Instanced Group Content
Yes, It does. No need for self-pity. Ascended gear helps you. Polishing your dps rotation helps you perform across all the game modes. In fractals you mostly learn about positioning and staying stacked for boon distribution, which you also use in raids - maybe even more so there. The more you play your class, the better you know the rotation, the less you tunnel-vision when you encounter new mechanics in raids or fractals. It's the case for every piece of content in this game. Do you think everyone had it easy when learning raids? Here is 9/10 LFG at any time of the day ready just for you to join with no requirements. Of course everyone knows the counter perfectly so you can do as many mistakes as you wish ☺️ Small kp increments DO matter. For single bosses people do ask for smaller amount of kp for that specific boss or endboss Training with pugs is possibly the worst approach you can take. Every single training you have entirely different squad of people with entirely different skill set. Raids were not meant for LFG and pugs. No? Besides general boss encounter awareness we have the blues. Almost exact same blues are on cairn in wing 4. You also learn that getting into green aoes is something you want to do. Which is the best thing about raids. I would pay a lot to forget raids so I can re-learn them again. Learning with your squad new mechanics and fresh bosses is an amazing experience. Again, with the same team, not different bunch of strangers every single time. Suffer? You learn the boss together, you "git gud" together. You make it sounds like you would hate helping them to learn the raid boss. This is probably the only barrier I can see there is in getting into raids. For some It's just impossible to have a set schedule that allows them to raid interrupted for couple of hours. Not the KPs, not the raid sellers, arc dps or whatever silly idea some people come up with. And what do you expect from "raiders"? People who put hundreds or sometimes thousands of hours into raids to "suffer" every single encounter with people who have close to none successful kills under their belt in the name of what? There is plenty of low-kp squads out there. If not, be the change you want to see in the world - make one. And yet again, learning new bosses from scratch with pugs will mostly likely result in horrible experience, find a guild, training discord yadayada, I'm sure you're tired of hearing this.- 172 replies

Now that we know, we are getting (at the later date) sets based on elden dragons for the Gen3 legendaries, in addition to core set based on Aurene - are you fine with ANet choice here or would you rather see unique individual pieces for each type of weapon instead of different versions of the same skin across the board?

Are raids really gone in EoD?
Krzysztof.5973 replied to Xanadrine.4352's topic in Instanced Group Content
Forums will catch on fire no matter how strike CMs will turn out to be. For some, the sole fact that they are 10man content is already too exclusive...
