some of the choices Anet made with leveling now feel off best example is no utility skills until your level 20 map that on the engineer that is basically reliant upon it's kits to do any sort of damage and the experience is beyond frustrating and rember unlocking your weapon skills threw combat? that was a great mechanic you could unlock your main hand weapon skills verry quickly now we don't get a full set of weapon skills until level 10. these days to start a new character I tome up to level 30 just to avoid the frigging slow skill bar unlocking kitten

Buy it for the Useful things it adds to the game. some of the maps are also pretty Fishing is fun with friends. For the story or if you expecting fun story encounters your better off flushing your money down the Toilet. some of the NPCs Like Totally use Valley speak My interest left as soon as they pulled that "go do hearts or Dynamic Events" Bull kitten that killed IBS for me I like to do Hearts on my own time. i don't want to be side tract by the story to go grind on an objective for a while. Biggest sin of all is just like HoT just before the Final fight your thrown into a Meta only map and have place some items as well as kill a few bad guys before you can start. The sad part is Unlike the HoTs DS this maps is Pretty is located in a place that was a Key Mission of Guild Wars Factions and is worthy of exploring properly. As a Fan of this location in GW1 I want to explore this map but seance its a meta only map if you go in just to enjoy the map your taking a slot that could be used by someone who wants to do the meta so it feels like i cant enjoy the map and not be an evil selfish jerk. also some of the spots that were key Luxon towns in GW1 are gated off and only open during the meta its a total Kick in the face to factions fans. Than again GW2 has a tendency to kick its classic fans in the teeth lately.

An Asura should never be impressed by or at least admit to being impressed by Human creations. New Kaineng is nice but it is no Rata-Sum and the Commander if they are Asura should be fast to point that out. but this is not the only time in the story that Liberties with the lore around the races. This Games most loyal fan base are the people who came here from The Original Guild Wars And We love Tyria and the lore around it we also love the Established lore of the races we picked for our Characters. I would Think and hope that the Writers share that same love. The short Let our Charr, Asura , Norn and Silvari be what they are. And respect it more than a little flavor text on a boat

If you go by the big Jade statue in KC thre is a Priory person that mentions that the Quaggen and Krait were driven out by something bad that only surfaced after bubbles left for Cantha. so we have a set up for a big bad Cthulhu like monster in the depths still that is now completely unknown to us . Which is brilliant we after all know enough about elder dragons that they are not that spooky any more but something scary that was being held back by a elder dragon that is the type of thing we need

Bad guys tend to Overestimate there capabilities not to mention they did not know who or what the commander is. and of course they payed with a Boot to the head.
