  1. This is great for Core Tyria. Anywhere else.... hahahahaha.
  2. Should make Impact Savant drop packs when hitting an enemy, and picking them up grants a stackable Barrier. Or as I have suggested before : The 300 Vit Scrapper lost is converted into a self regenerating Barrier which regenerates when the Scrapper isn't struck for 5 seconds. Barrier Recharge is interrupted on being struck, which will keep the current value until it starts recharging again.
  3. I like Barriers. I don't like Gyros. I would much rather Scrapper ends up as a Barrier-mancer than have an arsenal of robots pretending to be an actual impactful skill. Medic Gyro is just a strong Heal over time with initial heal.Purge Gyro is just a Cleanse over time.Blast Gyro is just a delayed explosion.Bulwark Gyro is just a Barrier over time but yu have to share it by taking damage for others.Sneak Gyro is a Stealth pulse over time.Shredder Gyro is just a targetted Damage field with finishers.Whoop de doo how interesting. How bout revamp the entire spec to recycle barriers or play around with it.
  4. Or make it similar to Stability where it is applied in stacks, and each Condition inflicted while having Resistance consumes a stack of Resistance instead. Kinda like a Condi version of Aegis, but stackable due to Conditions being more liberal in application.
  5. Maybe also change Replenishing Despair trait in Corruptions to further support Mallyx's condi manipulation : When gaining a Condition, gain Resistance. (10s ICD)When applying a Condition, remove a boon on the target. (10s ICD)Heal for x amount whenever Resistance is gained. (1s ICD) and maybe Demonic Defiance : Reduce damage taken from Conditions by 10%Reduce damage taken by 1% for each Condition you have.
  6. All they need to do for Forced Engagement is make it a non projectile taunt. That projectile is not only blocked by bodies, it also has a slow travel time, issues which almost every slow projectile skill in the game suffer from (like Scorpion Wire, Glint shield 4 and Spectral Grasp) As for Rite of the Dwarf, I like it as a passive and an Ancient Echo, but yea the Elite skill version of it is pretty garbage. Jalis could be tweaked to : -Heal with Condition Cleanse-Forced Engagement with no projectile, being a simple targeted taunt (and this isn't op or broken since many other skills in the game are also targetted CC)-Stunbreak Rite of the Great Dwarf, reduces incoming damage for 3s after casting with a 30 Energy cost, bringing it more in line with other Legend Stunbreaks-Hammers-Elite should be the brick road, but a toggle. Functions similarly to Scourge's Trail of Anguish, pulsing stability to allies on it, damages enemies if they cross or step onto the brick road.
  7. No I don't mean ganking, I mean roaming. Like back capping T3 camps, but enemy response time due to mounts makes it suicide. Even if yu kill a guy repeatedly, they will be back at the capture point within 15 seconds and keep contesting until Guard spawn/ more players start pouring in. As someone who has done this myself (single handedly contest a T3 camp for 5 minutes waiting for my allies to come and help) I can say roaming in this sense is dead. If yur content to just pick up paper camps which are getting flipped every 5 minutes near the borders of yur territory so be it.
  8. My proposal : Quickening Thirst gives bonus movespeed when under 75% health which doubles when at 50% or below. Additionally, each hit from Dagger 1 will inflict Bleeding Dagger 1 auto changed to a 400 range Life Siphon. Dagger 3 changed to consume all the stacks of Bleeding on a foe and deal more damage based on stacks, and then immobalize. Idk for Dagger 2.
  9. Similar to DE steal. That means a unique skill based on profession +regain Endurance if below 2 bars of Endurance.
  10. I want next Elite weapon to be Scorpion Wire.
  11. They should make Arcane the Combo blasting traitline instead of the stupid compulsory traitline people must use no matter what due to attunement recharge and some other tidbits.
  12. Me being a Tornado user : Tornado why yu suck. Tornado : technically, I knockback. Good point Tornado but yu still suck.
  13. Sounds like an Acro DD which knows how to use his evades very defensively. Considering Trickery gives Ini back both on weapon swap AND Stealing, DD can chain evades into staff5 into more evades due to the combination of ini regeneration and Staff mastery.
  14. The problem with Condi DD is that people don't usually fight them, which results in unpracticed results. Condi DD is an absolute joke when facing a Purity of Purpose Scrapper.
  15. Quickening Thirst makes no sense because why would yu wanna run slower when low on health in order to suck health to replenish it. They should make it +25% Movement Speed when wielding Dagger, and an additional 25% Movement Speed when under 75% Health. And additionally, they should just make Dagger 2 Life Siphon the main auto attack for dagger, because the melee aspect, while useful for generating lifeforce, is utterly impractical for a scholar profession. (Ele's dagger at least has some sort of range)
  16. Yea I would like a different function to DD steal similar to DE mark
  17. The point is no one populates EotM. Why would anyone roam just to Pve, that's just Pve.
  18. Or they can make EotM actually start counting to War score, and people will actually play there.
  19. Not sure if this topic has been raised over and over, but I would like to tackle it again. Mounts are horrible for roaming. No matter what people try and argue with, this is gonna be a well established fact.Mounts give Defenders too much movement advantage, it is near suicide for a Roamer to even exist in enemy territory, mounted or not.Mounts have given Defenders vastly increased reaction time when one of their camps or towers get contested, essentially tripling their movement speed in their own territory.Mounts have killed professions which are prized on their superior mobility compared to other players, such as Thief (by adding a second healthbar to shield against opening bursts, and by outpacing if not keeping up with Thieves) Right now the only map which forbids usage of any Expansion mechanics is Edge of the Mists, but I think Anet can very well extend this modifier to other maps. Alpine : This map is extremely vast and Mounts could be allowed here.EBG : This map should be the only map with all mechanics enabled.Desert : I think Mounts could be disabled here, due to the rocky terrain disagreeing with the Mount's pathing and very steep cliffs which make Mount travel sometimes worse than traversing on foot. Or maybe we should have a new BL soon, because we don't really need 2 Alpines.(Something like a Cavern BL which runs underneath the Mists, with the map mostly flat with various cave systems, and having limited Gliding and disabled Mounts)
  20. CtA might be a decent skill provided the cost wasn't garbage. 35 Energy for a weak leap and some CC?And no conditions other than Chill?Hell no, no thanks, seeya next christmas. Important QoL would be either to : Give it the old UA Torment field, which will justify the added +5 energy cost compared to before due to the nice CC which makes targets stay in the field.Decrease Energy cost to 15 Energy and make it apply Slow as well as Chill.
  21. Actually it's not the fact that Thieves can't roam anymore, it's the fact Mounts essentially killed any class which used to capitalize on mobility advantage against other roamers. Thieves used to be one of the few classes which had unparalleled catching and escaping power, along with Soulbeast and Warrior. The introduction of Mounts made it so that defenders can reach yu quicker, Defenders are immune to yur opening burst (which is extremely important to Thief) and Defenders can basically stay on pace or outpace yu with Mounts. Adding onto the fact Thieves have weak presence in Zerg fights, Thieves are being pushed to either Deadeyes, or just stop roaming altogether. Yu still see DDs and Cores here and there, but they are usually running around in Havocs or Pug zergs, and are there to catch Zerg tails, Scout and tap, and use Stealth to drop Portal/ use Siege disablers.
  22. I voted no, but not because it is OP. Skill is fine as it is, there are other problems it has, mainly the part where it thinks a little pixel of dirt on the road is enough to send it pirouetting away in a random direction.
  23. People should know by now : Anet balance philosophy isn't to "balance" the game so that gameplay is healthy, no. Anet balance philosophy is to throw a random curveball every 3 months to keep things interesting. People are evidently getting sick of their random balance whims, which is why yu see many people taking a break from Gw2.
  24. Lynx is better if yu have no need for Condi Duration, and imo, it is better. Condi gets cleansed very fast in sPvP, so I rather get more direct damage/Condi per second than to try and extend the duration. Honestly, this is what setup time is for before every match : yu can easily take a look at the scoreboard and see what sort of classes yu are facing, and tailor the build a little to see if yu can't squeeze out abit more damage vs their comp.
