alliances will fail if the size remains the same. these "super alliances"/guilds right now are just rolling over everything. Not fun for either side... if anet can't control that size by reducing the #, the players will kill alliances before they start.... what is the point of super alliances when there is no opposition? how long will you be happy beating on gates?

I spent several hundred gold and salvaged almost everything. (kept a few sentimental/pita things like the druid backpack). Basically got back what I spent. I used fractal relics and packed away tyrian vouchers to replenish the fractal relics.

For those saying how tough this is.. I am at 99 tonics. I bought most of the sand and 8ish stacks of blood b4 the chest change as a hedge against a jump in price. Only thing I will continue to buy is the sand. I am not super rich. It can be done if you want to do it..., This was a. Great addition to GW2. If you want a cheap mini grind, do the otter enrichment....

Nothing wrong there, as now even those who just casually play WvW can earn the skins. The mistake that was made was ANET not mailing an armor chest to every player who had already completed Bronze this week, and it speaks volumes t that nobody around the design table realized that making WvW players wait an extra week for the 1st piece was an issue. totally agree. the fact nobody saw the flaw just shows how much wvw anet people do outside their 1 hour stream.... So now I can earn the chest on my lvl 200 alt this week, but not on my 6k account. No it is not the end of the world, but once again better planning would have avoided this....

PVP has hero unlocks for gold. Those were pretty cheap if I recall

Wvw players want multiple guilds for claiming purposes. Others may want pvp, raid, and multiple pve guilds based on time of day they play.

99% failure on full coordinated maps? I have yet to see it fail. Closest was kil with @ 5 minutes on the timer.....
