If this was endgame PvE (which is what fb and scourge in s tier suggest), for example renegade, berserker or dragon hunter would have to be much higher in the ranking. If it was large scale wvw, scrapper and herald would need to be much higher. Same for small-scale wvw. Wvw roaming: thief and ranger need to be in s tier. If it was spvp, I would doubt ops sanity. As far as I know, firebrand and scourge are basically not playable there. If it is open world PvE: who cares what classes are a bit stronger? Bladesworn in E Tier... im guessing in WvWvW? Even then as a Roaming build it'd still be above E Tier.. given the spammy bladesworn style is Actually pretty strong in SPVP and its Capable in PvE Just harder to play due to how punishing missing is with the specc. Reaper in A Tier? since its nerfs its not that strong in SPVP, in PvE Content its also horribly outpaced compared to other power Speccs the only real strength it has its ability to feed itself alot of boons. Willbender D Tier? Even after its Condi build in PvE Content being pretty strong as a DPS Spot. Spellbreaker above bladesworn?.. Lots of hyper-pessimistic warrior mains that don’t realize bladesworn is actually quite solid in competitive modes. A skill that is also completely useless in PvP/WvW and in PvE if the boss moves it is even more so. As bad as cata's elite is, it resets your weapon skills which I would trade any day. U cant compare thousand Cuts with catas elite because catas weapon skills are far weaker than virtuosos ones, this is bc cata has so many of them. A "reset weapon skill"-skill is far better on virtuoso than on Catalyst because Catalyst has weaker weapon skills but more of them. Hammer skill 3 also has such a low duration that makes it impossible to cast 2x the same weapon skill without losing the orbs of Hammer 3. Hammer 3 also forces u to stand inside bosses to Max dps but you never stand in the boss. There is even something in the options to disable that u can run inside bosses and u shouldn't take an advantage by choosing something in the ingame options. Hammer also has too low access to auras and ccs and immob which makes it too difficult to keep Elemental empowerment up if u dont have perma quickness and alac. Well even then u struggle with that. If u look at the catalyst benchmark you can see that it often goes down to 8-9 stacks for around 1 second, and this is without dodges....... Besides of that Catalyst has no sustain, its squishier than dps tempest/weaver. Catalyst also has no dps atm (33.5k in full dps). Now u can Imagine how the quickness support dps is...yes...veeery low because full dps catalyst is on the level of quickness support dps. Its viable nowhere. Besides that a lot of Hammer skills also dont work if the enemy moves, same goes for spheres. Spheres also dont work if ur allies move bc they have to stand in this tiny circle to get boons. Augments require to use them in the attunement based sphere to grant their bonus effects. Elite Augment is totally useless on hammer (which is the best pve Catalyst weapon).
