Nerf Guardian , elementalist and necromancer.

So you want guardian, necro and ele to be nerfed because in your opinion 1 e spec of these classes is overperforming? Please...

Want to add more Infos? WvW? PvP? PvE?

Roaming, zerging? Group play pve, solo pve? Support wise? Damage wise? Defense wise? 

And why are these overperforming in your opinion? Please in more than 1 Word.

Posts like yours in this discussion are just straight up useless.

There is certainly an imbalance amongst e-specs but I'd rather see things get evened out vs. nerfed into the ground.

Most of the time its imbalanced distribution of Quickness, Alacrity (and to a lesser degree Might & Fury)

A class who has easy uptime to Quickness or Alacrity will almost always be more powerful then one that doesn't. Assuming basic competence.

If you can hit faster and more frequently, 9 out of 10 you will have the advantage.

Personally I say just abolish Quickness entirely and make it the default attack speed. Might require some damage coefficient adjustments in PvP/WvW but I think it'd be worth it.

It might make some support angry, but the game would feel better for newer players, would require less reliance on one buff, and just free up for more creative build processes. 

Alacrity while I'd love an easy source/relic etc. I would say leave in place as to still give support some level of purpose. As while quicker skill cooldowns are still OP, its still support reliant usually vs. how some DPS focused classes can have self 100% quickness uptime & others its just not a realistic possibility. 

But its the overpowered relation of the boons imo.

Elementalist Profession is past due for a complete redesign and rework. It is about time to make it happen, seriously!!

I'm trying to figure out what class this guy mains... What classes don't like fighting eles, necros or guardians? 

Engi as a class doesn't like fighting necros since they like to use boons to balance out their jack-of-all-trades playstyle.

Maybe Mesmer? I'm not a masterful Mesmer, but I feel like they don't like getting bursted very much, which two of these guys can do, and necro doesn't go down to conditions too much. 

Can't be warriors, they eat necros for breakfast, with all thier access to cc, and I feel like they can break even with guard and ele. 

Rev? They're basically similar to engi in terms of weakness, I think. 

I don't feel like ranger has any issues with necros or ele's. I'm not sure about the guardian match-up. 

So that just leaves... Thief ! A class that doesn't like the high burst potential of an elementalist not caught flat footed, and don't like the potential staying power any of these classes have. 

I diagnose you with thief player, good sir!

Based on what I've seen elsewhere, OP seems very invested in pewpew ranger. The specific elite specialisations being called out seem to be those that are good at surviving a longbow burst and then either beating a longbow ranger at their own game, or closing rapidly to deliver their own burst.

If I recall properly they prefer Axe or at least it was difficult to make them consider any other weapon in order to fix some of their build's shortcomings a while back.

Yes i play ranger , no it dont play Long bow ( not the last 3 years )

Yes i play a bit with main hand axe ( but not only that )

Willbender,  Harbinger and Catalysts have to much inbuilt defence an sustain in wvw

This is a wvw only isue as in spvp they are actualy quite ballanced (habinger and willbender migth even need a little buff in spvp)

The reason is that stats in spvp is way more resticted than in wvw.

There are other strong builds in wvw too but they dont reatch the op state that these 3 do( druid, thief , scrapper , vidicator )

Been a long while since there have been any focus on wvw in the patches.

Been playing a lot of catalyst myself bc it is fun to be that powerfull and melt 2-3 ppl at once but i dont think it is good for the game.
