  1. harbinger is not an issue. Yes it's extremely strong in 1v1 fights but its mobility is limited and it has no invulnerabilites. It's wvw, so you don't have to fight it 1v1, just bring some server/guild mates and burst it down. Also projectile destruction is a hard counter to it. The only thing that could be changed is the animation of the elite elixir because it's kind of hard to see. Just make it glow in a bright green color when a harb uses it so one can differentiate between the elite and normal elixirs.
  2. most annoying and broken s tier build since release, the D/P Daredevil. No other class or even spec comes close to how dumb Daredevil is.. not even deadeye.
  3. they avoid certain 1v1s because they would take too long or sometimes even forever. A "well played" thief does not die to any other class other than another thief. Thief is balanced in pvp because it cannot hold the node and not because thief is not a good dueling class.
  4. well tbh if you don't get any credit for any defender event in 2 hours you are not even playing the game. i finished the defender objective for the weekly in less than three hours and i never had a problem with a defender event. And i am glad that anet removed the ability for bot like players to simply repair smc or other tower walls and drain all the resources while gaining credit like they were actually playing the game. Just kill some players and you get the event credit. No issue here.
  5. anet should implement something like a spectator mode where a dev can then see everything a specific player sees, e.g. all their actions and movements. This would make it incredibly trivial to find out if anyone accused of hacking actually does so. Ofc this requires a dev being present and spending some time not only for implementing a spectator like mode but also for investigating players. So this would not work against thousands of accounts but if the most egregious examples of hackers and trainer users would be dealt with this would already be a huge improvement. Also the error rate of someone being banned wrongly (like it can happen in an automated system) would be zero.
  6. tbh dh is plenty of fun to play.. and dps wise what is your point here? close to 40k? and that is not enough? all builds above 40k should be tuned imo down but even if that doesn't happen, there is zero content where a class with almost 40k dps is useless. If you like playing dh then play it, it's a 10% difference to willbender so who cares really. With all this powercreep going on right now people are seriously complaining about a class dealing almost 40k dps as if the game wasn't easy enough already. Sad times...
  7. another option to rework stealth could also be that you can see stealthed players when you come close. like a lot of stealth in League of Legends works for example.
  8. seems like it is still the same bug that was the reason for anet to disable shattered aegis. hardly a willbender issue when it's just the f3 buff that comes from the willbender and the rest is all dh... if this is not old footage anyway. Just remove all kind of buffs when swaping a build template then you won't have this issue.
  9. the game was never made with these damage numbers in mind. I hope anet turns every one of these builds down to below 40k dps again. 40k dps builds have always been outliers and now we are close to 50k. What an enormous powercreep.
  10. a guildmate was looking forward to play sword/sword lb dh with trapper runes as he did in the beta. It was an incredible fun build and now he is stuck on his former main revenant again... this rune added so much surviveability to dh that it just doesn't feel right to simply delete it.
  11. there are multiple options available to anet. One option could be that any action other than walking removes stealth or another could be that you don't get stealthed instantly anymore but have a 1-2 second fade time where you are slowly turning invisible. There are many options to make stealth more balanced than it is right now.
  12. it's a pretty bad skill and tbh in my 5k hours of playing warrior i have never used it and never seen anybody else use it.
  13. i play wvw very often (3-5 times a week and over 4k wvw levels) and tbh i see the same thing. harbs and wbs are pretty rare especially cele wbs .. that's something i practically don't see at all. I see far more dragon hunters for example than willbenders and far more reapers than harbingers. If i just look at roaming then the only class that's definitly overrepresented is thief. So because my experience in this game is so vastly different from what op describes i have to say that the claims from op in this post do not represent reality.
  14. there are far more good roaming classes than those 5 mentioned. Vindi, Soulbeast, various mesmer specs, grenade scrapper... And i am not even talking about 1v1 classes just about classes that can chase/escape/survive and burst very well
  15. i have never ever seen somebody use deathless courage and imo nothing changed since the cata nerfs... so many classes have the same burst capacity as wb but access to stealth, long duration blocks, invulnerabilities. Once you get focused by 2-3 dps you die so fast and have practically zero options to survive that i really can't see why someone should play wb atm. Wb only has better than average mobility in pvp and average burst and dps. But the drawbacks right now are that you are squishy, melee only and have practically no cc on top of having no options to stay alive when you are being focused.
  16. from 10 sec duration and 10 man target cap and completely denying the application of new boons and removing one boon every .5 seconds to the sad state this skill is in now... it was the perfect skill against boonblobs and the skill was practically useless everywhere else in the game. And now it's just a useless skill. Standing inside it during the short duration makes no difference. This skill was overnerfed three "nerfes" ago.

  18. S/D Thief is not much better... you don't have a good ranged option? well you automaticly lost the fight. If you play a good bunker you will deal no damage anyway and if the thief makes some mistakes he can simply reset the fight whenever he wants to. Almost as bad a d/p thief but has one weakness and that is ranged pressure.
  19. it's rare to read bigger BS on these forums. You know what also sucks? That there are walls and npcs who also help the defending team. Get rid of it all. There should just be circles on the ground that boonblobs should be able to cap freely. Get these walls out of my face and ban every player who dares to build any siege while defending their circle. What a lot of BS.
  20. there is only one dev responsible for the complete (un)balance in pvp. And it seems neither anet nor ncsoft care about this aspect of the game so that dev can do whatever he wants. And if he wants a specific class to be strong for a extended amount of time then this is what everyone who has not abandoned pvp has to put up with.
  21. a 1 second fade time after stealth is applied would also work imo. Stunbreak stealth skills should be excluded from this.
  22. btw for the guy saying that only the berserker greatsword burst was "nerfed".. for any warrior that played the strength traitline the heal skill mending now has a 20 sec cd instead of 16 seconds.
