Everyone needs to learn that for vs you must dodge into the attack, sideways or backwards doesnt work, think of it like a wave at the beach The healing from might is a bit overtuned for wvw but compared to other things there its fine, it was already addressed in pvp like 4 or 5 months ago with some tweaks. Lots of people just are not well versed in bs duels but weakness application is a pretty hard counter, things like elixir autos, ranger traits etc shut down bs really easily
  2. sa changes were a massive buff except for people who camped stealth for 6+ seconds and only picked on non sustain roamers the mech getting explosive rocket is dumb but its got nothing on cele harb and specter
  3. honestly any new mode that has 0 pve would be so refreshing, balance is janky in conquest so its not like we would even care if the new mode is really unbalanced
  4. tbf at least rifle engi can be reflected unlike a certain kittenous hamburger, ft stab trait should have been nerfed instead of the auto range though
  5. aegis and single blocks do the same thing against fast hitting attacks or even just auto chains afffected by swiftness at times My guess either one or all of blind,aegis, and block, have some weird minimum uptime duration like .15s or shorter that glitches things out

  7. I dont think pvp has even been mentioned in any form by anet since before eod launched, don't hold your breathe
  8. in the time it took for the match, they found something better to do ot went afk this happens for 2 reasons 1. pvp is so stale that fishing is at times a better way to spend ones time 2. queues are so long the people who originally did q are about to finish a meta event
  9. it took my some time but if you remember to always dodge into instead of away from a dt then it will never land the window to land the hit is a bit absurd tbf
  10. personally I think the balance issues are 1. siege disablers should not be affected by unblockable buff, 1 person with a stab or stealth and unblockable can shut down an entire siege for quite some time 2. more classes need access to reveal and strips 3. firebrand should not have a monopoly on aoe stab 4. cele is overtuned, nerf overall stats by 10% and quickly revisit to tweak it to 7% or 13% if needed etc
  11. for 2's its SA specter well see how conquest pans out but a decent specter with SA can take on anything now
  12. 2's are more about build synergy and timing bursts/invis together but harb/specter 2 bladesworn tempest/willbender seem to do better than most from the little ive seen harb/specter can just tank through almost anything, and their cc chains can be over 10s long quite easily 2 bladesworn get so much healing/might from traits that they can really save their shake it offs and wittle down enemy to practically 0 cds left before they begin unblockable bursts, they do best utilizing 1 with fgs and 1 with the mark target to combat invis spam tempest can support any build but tempest/willie can fit in burning quite easily without any duration or condi dmge and still get close to 20k stacks of burning with hella might that ticks for 4-6k bursts on top of willies insane power bursts, really hard to lock one down and willie with alac or auras is such a pain to go up against really there are a ton of combos available, but the above are easy to preform well with if you coordinate just a bit

Its pretty well known that devs regularly browse reddit, Id be surprised if they do more than glance at these forums once a month or so its also now known that they dont really care about our opinions, even they people they did speak w about balance they didnt really implement what eas suggested at all based on the thing that shall not be discussed but did happen
  14. Going to have to agree to disagree on this, the whole thing. Reviving a player with certain traits/utilities is about one the easiest things for many builds, its why everyone hates downstate now in pvp/wvw make no downstate the norm!

  20. weve been screaming thia from the rooftops ever since they removed solo q, its never coming back unfortunately. Everyone would have to boycott ranked for lime a month, even then anet mind not even notice/care.
  21. the writing was on the wall when eod released with no new maps, amys, runes, or even kitten sigils about 6 months post release and the big balance patch doest really change anything for pvp...ya noone with pull at anet gives a poop about pvp at all. This has never happened with other expansion launches where nothing new comes with pvp AND even at the first big shake up, nothing is addressed. Harbs still have their I win button, willies sustain did take a hit but their spin to win utility dmge is beyond reasonable and will continue to trash other specs Again pvp got literally nothing new with eod not even a single sigil, and there had been 0 talk of even one thing being added or worked on. We've all known it for a while now but I guess I was really hoping for something with the balanced patch, leaks confirmed devs do not know or care about pvp. Just everyone wait for wvw to die the same slow population death once alliances takes another year and ends up changing nothing at all. We want new modes and maps anet, but would at least settle for real balance shake ups
  22. it used to be condi immunity, about a year or so ago they made it only apply to non dmge condis, it kittened over warrior and certain rev builds more than anything its also I think why there are more condi p/d roamers every day
