  1. We have enough means of getting new skins in releases, they don't also have to be rewards for finishing a large bunch of achievements too. Not a perfect solution, but better than just more meaningless skins.
  2. Pretty much reflects my thoughts as well. Nice post!
  3. I don'tknow what to spend them on exactly, I haven't bothered to look into that, but if we have many more items that require them it would make sense to increase the drops too. We also don't know what is yet to come that might need a bunch of them.
  4. That's the price we paid when we collectively claimed 4 months of waiting is too long. I don't think these releases are too small, but at least they're coming out at a faster pace on top of that.
  5. I... don't understand what's so bad about this? The face looks a bit goofy, but that is because we have never seen a horse in GW2 at all so having a horse's head on a feathery creature looks super out of place. I like it though.
  6. They were already among the easiest to earn map currencies so increasing droprates had to come with an increase in prices.
  7. Is your ticket in English? Did you consider that support staff isn't working during weekends/special holidays? Then there is a certain priority to tickets, where the most important ones, like loss of your account etc. are handled first and in order.
  8. IMO legendary runes are more comparable to legendary armor than other runes. As weird as that sounds, but stat swapping aside, since armor offers you the possibility to swap runes out at any time, being able to swap the rune itself at any time is functionally the same thing. So if a person never plays WvW or raids, they can get legendary runes instead of farming for armor instead to gain that aspect of it. Now that may or may not be smart or efficient, but wouldn't be unheard of that some people just strictly refuse to play those.
  9. Thanks for the communication there, that's pretty neat. I gotta pick up the slack :)
  10. I see a ton of new players honestly. It's just that you hardly ever notice them around unless they actually try to engage and talk or join voice comms.
  11. Honestly, this is a deeply disrespectful comment. We get far more skins ingame than years ago, we can earn them through playing and more interactive collections than before. This was completely unheard of not too long ago. Now we get a new armor and weapon set almost every release. Giving us recolors for repeating content such as festivals is a great way to add rewards without shitting on the teams that are occupied working on stuff we get in episodes.
  12. Braham is one of the only characters to actually receive ANY type of character development. It baffles me that people still see him as the annoying angsty brat he was during HoT and S3, because he has long since moved away from that big time. He IS the guy that damaged Jormag's Tooth, which is a really big deal. It wasn't played up as much before, honestly, but it's pretty important. This is his fight, he is the stand in for his entire race in the story.
  13. Mechanics and build rotations are the only barrier stopping people from raiding. Strike missions are generally a bit easier on the mechanics, so people can get used to doing them. In theory.
  14. As long as you don't have all three servers clashing with a full blob at the same time I haven't experienced any lag in a while now. Playing on EU.
  15. Somebody's getting a tap on the wrist for shipping a wrong version of the map ayy
  16. Oh. The activity isn’t gated behind having a skyscale as it existed before the skyscale was even available. Then how do I light the firecrackers that are above a planter and dangling from a statue, respectively? Jumping. Gliding. You have a mount, why not jump up? You can't interact while in the air, just land somewhere.
  17. Better than nothing. We can't dye weapons and this is an easy and effective way of making use of some older skins and adding rewards to festivals that have absolutely no reason to be as long as they are.
  18. Recolors are perfectly valid since we have no means of coloring weapons ourselves. Praise having more options. It's a simple way for them to add things for people to enjoy and work towards, without massively restructuring their rewards for festival content.
  19. At least it's not for mobile and yes, I have a phone. The mobile market is booming. We would be lucky to have Anet produce a higher performing mobile game bc that would mean GW2 would also benefit from the increased resources. Wow.... that delusion. Sure, Anet will develop something new to keep something dying artificially alive. And all that for the good of GW2 players. The 2nd coming is finally here. Wouldn't it be easier to develop something cool for GW2 to keep GW2 alive? GW2 gets regular updates, you have no argument here. More like "seasonal". Regular updates happens every week, not once in a blue moon. That's your own made up definition of what regular means. We get a patch every 2 weeks roughly and content updates every 2 months as of right now. I'd agree if we still had 4 month cycles.

  21. Most fun mount to zoom around with. You're slower than the rest in terms of horizontal movement, but it's so much more fun. Not having to switch between mounts to get up a cliff is nice, for short distances the dash is also really quick. Overall it just combined the two mounts I've used the most, Griffon and Raptor, in terms of movement.
  22. I swap in cleansing ire, if i feel like my guard is competent, or the enemies not instagibbing meIt adds alot of adrenalin generation. And yea, not having fast hands turns off alot of ppl, many dont even try to play it, or try it for 1 or 2 fights, feel weird with it and go back to their super omegalul dmg warriors (who in reality cant compete with any of the current meta dmg speccs, like weaver or rev) I switched to Axe for a bit more aoe and I always forget how good Axe 2 is at generating Adrenaline. Went Rousing Resilience for that extra bit of sustain on me and had a ton of incredible fights. This is so much fun! Usually I'd complain that Fast Hands is gone because I don't get to swap weapons enough to make use of all the skills, but with all this sustain I can pull off so many swaps lol This is exactly my playstyle.
  23. Roaming far more than I used to, I have to say I enjoy downstate a lot more than I would have imagined. Gettings downs in a fight is neat, then it becomes a game of whether they ress rush or not and if you have used your skills to stop them already. I love bringing my Battle Standard to finish them off in time, feels super satisfying. And there is the problem. If you don't have a quick execute it can feel pretty bad. Getting stomps off is difficult, obviously there are means like casting stabs to not get interrupted, but it feels pretty bland. Using a skill instead of an interact feels much better and adds more gameplay imo, which is why I would love if more classes got access to (single) targeted finishers that have a cooldown so they can't be abused. And yes, people do that on their Warclaws, running away to mount and come back for a stomp, but that's really boring too.
