Every post this person makes is about how the sky is falling and the game isn't fair. Not sure how some of you take it seriously at this point.

It was purposely designed to be a WvW mount with little to no function in PvE. Anet devs themselves said this when it was designed and released. Give it up already

which only makes it look like the game is on life support, not a good sign. The game gets continuous updates. It’s hardly on life support. GW1 also gets continues updates when needed, doesn't say much. I don't know how you could think the games on life support when there's consistent updates with new Items, Maps, Stories and Features as well as a Third expansion coming.Oh that's easy to figure out, they're salty and full of pessimism.

By indulging into a figurative number, I believe you completely missed the point, which is that there are indeed disabled and/or elderly people out there having a hard time completing contents that could grant them access to items or abilities that would improve their QoL in game. There is nothing wrong to advocate for them. And YOU miss a point made by someone else above. If you design a game based on the absolute lowest possible standard... there would be someone that exists that can't complete every existing aspect of this game. Some people are bad platformers, we need to remove all platforming from the game. Some people are incapable of competing in pvp, we need to remove all pvp from the game. Some people are incapable of the reflexes required to dodge appropriately, need to remove active dodging from the game. Some people just straight up don't have hands, need to remove any aspect of the game that requires the use of a keyboard and mouse. Stop attempting to force game design for a small percentage of the population.

What you are describing here is by definition not harassment and just a personal problem. This is akin to demanding the store manager call the police because other people are shopping in the same aisle as you in the market. This is harassment, however if it is something that takes place over a medium that isn't GW2, there's really not anything Arenanet can do about it. They don't control whatever said medium is. Again, this is 100% NOT harassment and a personal issue on your end. Someone driving down the street in a lamborghini isn't doing anything wrong just because you don't also have a lamborghini. How are you completely unaware that all backpeices created before the introduction of capes were undyeable? This isn't some arenanet secret that was purposely kept away from the public in a nefarious scheme to take $10 from you. It is literally no one else's fault but your own.

You can create whatever fantasy you want in your head but in reality at no point in the story were you "just an adventurer". The imaginary pixels on your computer screen progressing through the fictional plot line of this video game story is not crossing "so many red lines." Reel it in.

While it might be a client side (or backbone) issue, just because others can log in and play does not, in any way mean it's not server side. On the other hand, just because he can connect to other things also does not, in any way mean its not on his side. I literally said that in my post you quoted....What... no. Why would a 500 jeweler be able to make legendary trinkets? 500 weaponsmith can't make legendary weapons. 500 armorsmith can't make legendary armor.

I mean, you can choose to ignore the mechanics of the fight and turn it into a 30 minute health sponge, or you can do it the way its meant to be done and beat it in about 5 minutes. That's not the the encounter's fault you chose option 1. This is blatently false. The best level of gear in the game (ascended, or legendary if you want stat swapping) was always and can still be 100% acquired without ever doing raids. How is this false? The best gear in the game would be gear with stat switching. It is objectively better than non stat switching. The statement stands as 100% true. Do you not understand the concept of features adding value?Legendary and ascended are the exact same tier of gear. You can acquire that tier of gear from MANY different places in the game. Claiming legendary gear is a tier above ascended is false regardless if you personally want it or not or find stat swapping useful or not. Claiming Arenanet "betrayed" you is overwhelmingly overdramatic. A close friend plunging a knife into your back is a betrayal. A video game company introducing new content to their game that YOU personally don't like is a minor inconvenience at most. There's an ocean sized gap between those two things.
