New Stat Combinations in End of Dragons?

Recommended Posts

Was there any word on this? I know most combinations already exist, but there are some that are still missing. For example, there are some Condi builds that have synergy with criticals, but not really with power. So something like condition damage, expertise, precision with either vitality, toughness or healing power could be interesting.

Is there any stat combination you felt like was missing?

Do not forget that we still do not have Ferocity/Precision/Power with Ferocity as main attribute.

...because it is mathematically a stupid idea, lol.

There needs to be several Ferocity main stat set

OK, wait. Why? It's just weaker than Power, and doesn't work on can't-crit abilities.

Its more for min/max things. Say you have large amounts of power from your traitlines, but not alot of ferocity. There comes a point where adding more ferocity is better than adding more power and vice versa depending on their relative values and your crit chance. There is an old table floating around Reddit that is still relevant.

It would be cool to see dual stat combinations on exotic/ascended level. But that would probably invalidate their 3/4 stat versions maybe

Other than that Swasbuckler’s combination would be nice to see in PvE for like solo runs maybe

Yes, at 100% crit chance and ~3750 Power or so. That's a very many amount of Power.

Assuming the following: Maxed out precision for 100% crit chance (or as close without going over)
1000 power base
750 power from might
100 power from food
100 power from banners

that's 1800 power needed from gear/traits.  This isn't entirely difficult to achieve.

Full on Berserker's gear is 1561.   This leaves ~239 power from traits & runes.  175 can come from scholar or Thief, and, right now, warrior with the berserker trait line, with all the buffs, gets to 4119 power.  369 power over what's necessary.

You know, the info on the GW2 wiki on stats is very basic. It doesn't say anything about power affecting anything but strike damage. Is that so or do other things benefit from that as well, etc.? Is it really just that basic or is there more to these stats? And if so, what would be a good place to read up on this topic?
