Anet do something

My server is  currently in the third tier of NA Matchups. Did a two hour run earlier today, early morning U.S. time, and there was a lot going on. Constant battling across all the border maps for keeps and towers, with some highly effective groups going head to head against each other. If there's no one running an open tag when I log in, I'll solo roam or run with a small, tagless pug, when I encounter one. Shrug.

My server was losing towers to 5 players. And keeps were taken like handouts. Both teams just ktraining the heck out of our side nothing we could do since we were outnumbered.

All this on EBG lol.

Honestly anything being done would be awesome. If it's a horrible change atleast I can uninstall without regrets.

I could get behind a summonable legendary boss with like 100k badges of honor that could be escorted to SMC lord's room and battles the Lord with the squad. It would be interesting at least.

ik that was a joke, but SM is often held vastly easy by the most stacked servers' pugs (and sometimes small guilds) so that something like regularly desaster events at t3 SMs would be actually funny (it shouldn't happen at lowtier stonemists imo)

while admittedly i have no interest in fighting a phat NPC boss attacking it xP but many casual SM campers probably would ... like alone how often the grub gets killed for literally zero profit and 5min+ of time,  idk

considering how much plain siege dmg and full burst roamer or gankerbuilds SM castle - on many servers when they hold it- contains tho, the chance that any world boss NPC attack wouldn't even touch inner is kinda huge, i fear xD

I’d just want this boss to go around and kill the kitten siege.  Like every floor, entry levels, etc.  Like three shot an arrow cart, four shot a treb/cata.  Only is stopped when it’s CC’d enough….

Some keeps seem made out of siege.  I wonder in a no siege weekend would work. Would also mean that doors need to be open I guess. Could lead to an interesting map. Or it could be completely empty..

the june patch is looking less and less and exciting. 

That's their vision for WvW. Boonballs runniing around and steamrolling anyone not an organized boonball, only losing to bigger boonballs.

I have an idea for people that doesnt like to organize, anet could make wvw maps for just 5 ppl and so we fight each other with no command and boonballs, even better with different mechanics from wvw so less boonballing. Wait! that is PvP o,O

i still often find myself on a somewhat large groups against a organized boonbals, sometimes we can actually win, ultiul the boon ball notices all they need to do is pass trough and 1111 and use all aoe like its melee lol..

Nothing like that, organizing is cool but WvW becomes extremely awful when certain servers have blobs for hours each day and you have... none, or just a fair amount of hours every week. So seeing support and ranged nerfs is a welcome sight for situations like these.

What exactly is the problem with clouds being able to take down boonballs?

The problem is that clouds ALREADY kill boonballs, clouds already pull people out of boonballs even with the actual ammount of boons. So between the ammount of siege anet allows on wvw, the people moving borders for supps, and clouds having enough cc, if you dont allow boonballs survive in attacking an structure you will have the MOST boring game mode ever.

There is no way that between two groups equally skilled and with similar numbers, the cloud defeats the boonball. It is extremely unrealistic and can only be done through heavy focus on the commander, which won't happen on a cloud.

Sure, if you are on one of those german servers which members achieved their God of WvW title through farming in the edge of the mist, is very possible that a highly skilled cloud will take down your karma train. But talking about equal skill and numbers, there is no way.
