Against demons, they use Arcane magic as a tool. In the current generation, among them is a young woman named Zalve. She is a PRODIGY, already as a child he mastered the studies of magic, and was at the top of his class. As the lands of the Astral Wards became too small for her, she was allowed to travel across Tyria to increase her knowledge. She became interested and studied at Asura's College of Synergetics and was at the top of her class. She became interested in technology and saw the possibilities of bringing magic and technology together. She returned the the lands of Astral Wards, and here she developed a means of converting arcane magic as energy, to fuel physical/mechanical devices, the Arcane Energy is born. The world of the Astral Wards has changed, there are all kinds of robots, transmission lines, and you can replenish the energy of any machinery with the "Astral Energy Batteries". However, there is something suspicious, there are demons appearing..... they seem attracted to where there is Arcane Energy......, .,........... Yes, great idea! 😉 Let's repeat stuff we have already had way too much of for the past eleven years: All sorts of creatures being attracted to ley-line energy, only now it's "arcane" energy.
