I already had T6 participation at the start of that (I try not to let it drop too much) and used celebration boosters, guild enhancement and XP boosters. The XP boosters make the biggest individual difference (+50%) and you can get the masterwork version for 1 laurel each. There’s a ton more I like to make, but with the current system where I have to play world versus world to get the gift of battle I’m done. I tried world versus world again. It’s kitten and anet you need to figure something out for people that don’t play world versus world to get the gift battle like I said I made my last legendary weapon and I’m done. I’m done with the whole system of how to get the legendary weapon. It is plain ridiculous. You are forced to play world versus world to get the gift of battle like I say you can’t kick a dead horse anymore than it has been kicked, but I’m tired. I’m tired of the BS. Biziut.3594 Posted April 23 Share Posted April 23 On the more serious note, You can become almost full legendary without touching WvW, with the exceptions being Two trinkets and (probably cuz idk if You can craft 2x Coalescence) One ring. You have OW lege armor, You have Ad Infinitium for backpack, Coalescence for one ring, Story for amulet and TWO sets of legendary weapons that You can get entirely through trading post. Unless You go specificly for Gen 2 skin You are good to go. If for any reason you go for Gen 2 weapon than sorry but it's a "You Problem". Diffrent modes have diffrent skins. I don't except to get Oblivion Scythe skin from WvW, I go to raids to get it. It is Your problem and Your decision if You want go for something in the game or not, it is not the flaw in design. There might also be ppl playing WvW exclusivly and drowning in Gifts of Battle, yet being short on everything else since WvW ain't very profitable. People keep asking for different ways to acquire GoB or make it tradeable, but after almost 12 years I guess it's save to say, Arena.Net has no intention to change the current implementation. Everyone's free to decide wether a legendary is so important for him/her to do something out of ones comfort zone, or just skip it. Do the dailies 5-10 min a day for a week or two by flipping camps, capturing land points, etc. (Essentially PvE [with some danger]). It really isn't that hard. You may not like it. But it's just part of the leggy grind. People who play WvW are required to play PvE after all. It's a two way street. Nor You are even trying to answer any argument that was given to You. Instead You are going with "Becouse I am forced" (while You are not, as I stated above You can get 90% of all legendary equipment outside of WvW), or You are threatning with leaving the game, just like 10 year old kid throwing a tantrum would do. On the top of that, You are writing on public forums that You hate everyone. Why? Becouse they have other opinion than You do? Maybe someone would take You seriously if, just as I said above, instead of hate and threats, You would come with a constructive argument as for why it should be implemented the way You like it. QueenKeriti.5176 Posted April 23 Share Posted April 23 (edited) Anet could do something where you buy a bunch of pieces of some item from the WV that, when combined, will give you 1 (one) GoB per WV season (totaling a high AA cost), but, yeah, I don't see that happening anytime soon either since the GoB is part of a core aspect of the game, same with the GoE. Edit: I said Anet could, not that they would, or even that they should. I think limiting the GoB to WvW is fine, as a whole. I just wish it wasn't 4-6 hours of ticks.
