FoureyesZero.1524
This whole update is a disappointment the fractal is terrible and feels unfinished and the story was insanely rushed. This final update for soto needed at least 6 more months of dev time to make it as good as it should have been. 17 1 5
QueenKeriti.5176
The story was a bit...rushed. A lot rushed, and I feel like I'm missing so much context. 15

I would have expected much more for the final story of the expansion. 15
Witch of Doom.5739
It was so dang boring that I was fine with it being amazingly short, tbh. 16 5 2
Tinstinni.6357
The entire credits at the end actually seems to compete with the update's story length xD 15 2 15
Obnoxa.6702
Welp, we asked for less running around doing events as a filler and they heard us, that's for sure. Pretty underwhelming. 4 5
DarcShriek.5829
I had no emotional connection to anything other than Zojja's resolution.
Futa.4375
I can't wait for their retrospective and "what they've learned"! 15 2
illuminati.8453
Only tangentially related to the OP, but I feel like the #1 goal for Anet in this expansion was to ensure they could release one update per quarter, no excuses. If the content is perceived as lacking, they'll work on it, but that is secondary to maintaining their release schedule. 10
Galmac.4680
The story lasts longer if you watch the whole epilog with the ANet team members and doing all the dialogues with all the 20 NPCs… 3 3
IAmNotMatthew.1058
When the first step in the story is minutes of talking followed by "alright go do events now" you know you're in for disappointment. 25
Wolfofdivinity.6251
As long as the rest of you are as miserable as us WvW'rs I'm pleased! Well done anet! 2 24 1

Yeah, I felt like I missed a whole Living Story Episode....and about 2 official licensed novels. 6

Eloc Freidon.5692
Remember how good PoF's finale and epilogue was? How grand LW4 was without being a paid expansion? 20 1

Congrats, ANet, you made doing household chores more interesting than the story. 11 1 10 1
Vetkin.6041
One of the most anticlimactic finales ever. They just showed up at Eparch's doorstep and killed him. No twists that would disrupt this plan. And the final episode being only roughly an hour long despite so many months of waiting is the biggest letdown. 17
yumi.5170
It was so bad. And at the end the story was again just what you should expect. I was so hopeful they would do something crazy now that they are not bond to the dragons anymore. But nope. Lamest kitten story they could have written.
SlateSloan.3654
1 hour gaming and then half afk in never ending epilogue... most important put pornographic story books into the game for kids 12 years of age. whoever wrote this utter rubbish snargle book should get fired and the person who acknowledged to get it into the game directly with. 8 3 2

Lan Deathrider.5910
For their lessons learned: Find the story writers that worked on HoT through LWS4 and rehire them. The pacing these last few patches is WAY off. Quite frankly I do not feel like what I paid for SotO was worth it story wise. Nayos as a map really is not any fun. Skywatch was fun. Amnytas less so, but is still gorgeous to be in and the different bastions having different themes was nice. Nayos? Nah. My feedback to the team for working on the next expac is to spend less time on WV skins and more time on producing a story that is cogent, well paced, and engaging. Things have gotten out of balance since Gyala Delves with the story telling. 8
Teknomancer.4895
I half expect one of the streamers to record a SotO playthrough from start to finish, cutting out all the go-fetch/meta-grind filler, with only the story remaining. I suspect it would be quite a short vid after edit.
