P.S., - The Mursaat avatar is sick :) Reminds me of Naomi Baker's mursaat for PoF

Good question. I believe our CP's (as I call them ;) )
are
independent artists, although @"Stephanie Bourguet.4781" would know more about the program. I do know there's information on the website about the Partner Program
. I hope that information is helpful.

Whoever they are, the new Icons are awesome! Good Job!

Hi guys :),

All of these new avatars were made by our awesome team of Creative Partners! They're members of the ArenaNet Partner Program and joined as Creative members. They worked hard to create all these new pieces for you ^^ Don't hesitate to show off your appreciation by following them on their platforms :)! (Links are available in the blogpost: https://www.guildwars2.com/en-gb/news/check-out-the-new-forum-avatars/ and below).

Regarding the characters they painted, it goes as follow:

  • Angelique did the Choya, MacLaine and the Peacock raptor
  • Espyrn painted Samarog
  • Gears made the Pocket raptor and the Skimmer
  • Htg17 illustrated the Treasure Mushroom and the Mouth of Mordremoth
  • Idaida made Dessa and Arkk
  • Isvoc created Glint, Vlast and older Aurene
  • Kedemel made Sieran and Faren
  • Kinixuki did Malyck and Palawa Joko
  • Landylachs did Riannoc, Malomedies and Cadeyrn
  • Ownely did Lazarus and the Mystic Forge

Thanks for this. :) It's really helpful to know exactly what these avatars represent.

Now I just need to choose between the two Aurenes and Vlast!

What do you mean?

Creative Partners come from very different backgrounds and have different experiences. They don't need to be part of a larger community to join. If you're interested in joining, don't hesitate to apply through the link Gaile shared earlier in this thread (fair warning though: There is a bit of waiting due to the volume of applications received. We get hundreds of requests and while we only respond when the answer is positive, we review them all).
