  1. But they are fixing things. Have you read the release notes? https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/135419-game-update-notes-august-22-2023/
  2. I guess time will tell. ANet has the metrics on how often bounties are run (when they weren't an old daily). Perhaps they view the more casual audience isn't engaged with that type of system and that's what brought about the rift hunting content. Also, aren't rifts to be expanded into the later maps? Maybe those will be different from these? As for being disingenuous, I disagree. Since you made the comparison, I'd assume that you prefer the bounties over the rifts. That's being subjective. There were complaints about the skyscale quest but then there were those who stated that they loved them. Same could be said of jumping puzzles. /shrug
  3. Maybe there isn't enough budget for a larger marketing campaign.
  4. Fun is subjective. There are many aspects of GW2 which are fun for some players and not fun for others. Should ANet change their entire game design to suit your definition?
  5. It's optional content. It's not required to play the game or advance the story. Players are not gated behind anything if they don't acquire these items.
  6. How? Why? Of course it is. If a player wants the rewards, then the player needs to do the content for those rewards.
  7. I never said that I enjoyed everything Anet provides, nor have I even hinted at that. My point was that the post quoted seemed rather hyperbolic. And I'm not affiliated with San Diego. 😆
  8. No problems here either. I have all four builds on my main (core, soulbeast, druid, untamed) and have been able to swap between them all.
  9. By your question, what makes you think that they will suddenly respond to you?
  10. Why should Anet care, as long as players are logging in? Why now enforce specific dailies? Taking away options is never a good plan, in my opinion. I believe, in this case, it might drive players away from dailies even with the purchasable rewards structure.
  11. Which would have been fine to me if Anet had simply upped the damage coefficient and left the animation. If the goal was for more DPS, then they had no real reason to make the animation changes. Those who enjoyed the game-play of the rotation would have been satisfied and those who wanted more utility/DPS from the weapon would have been satisfied.
  12. They're reading. Have you checked the Dev Tracker? Rubi has been quite busy. I'd say that they care.
  13. People want to be heard. They think that Anet won't hear them if they post in an existing thread. I don't think that the mods are GW2 players, so they really don't know what should be merged and what shouldn't until someone reports a thread and suggests the merge? I could be wrong, but I often don't see things merged until they are reported. /shrug
  14. Depends on the definition of "rewarding" I'd guess. I'd rather spend my limited time playing maps that I enjoy rather than slogging through one I don't for a few more drops.
  15. Except the posts found don't directly address this point so ....
  16. Thanks for the Wildstar history lessons. I knew most of that. Still, if it had such a great housing system, apparently that was not enough to sustain the game. Would hate to see that happen here.
