I don't like this expansion, but I don't hate it either. To me it's just more of the same. I dislike the change to ruins. None of the relics have come close to replacing what was lost on the 6th rune. I was peeved that, already having the skyscale, I felt compelled to redo all the masteries and collection gathering. Then I took one look at the list of requirements for the "free" kryptis skyscale skin, and lost all interest in acquiring it. Will I come back to it later? I don't find it all that attractive, so I don't know if I will. What I do like is being able to use updrafts and ley lines with my skyscale and griffon. I always thought that they should be able to use those things.

Its unfortunate that the OP was disappointed with their purchase. For me the attached pant was a selling feature. I'm always looking for alternatives to the skimpy dress designs for my light armor gals.

I enjoy playing dress up dolls with my characters so I'd love to have the transmutation charge system go away, but I don't see it happening. My biggest complaint about the charges is having to pay to use skins bought from the gem store after their first use. Purchased skins should be free to use over and over.

I like the new set. My berserker looks rather grand in it but a bathing suit, it is not.

Same here too I can log in, see my characters but get a network error when trying to launch the game.

The first online game I played, many years ago, was a RP game. You had to be in character at all times. Being a female I wasn't comfortable RP'ing a male. Now I always play females out of habit I guess. I personally don't care which gender folks play. Play what's fun for you because fun is what we are suppose to be having here after all.

I'm not the least bit interested in PvP and that cape isn't going to tempt me. I have half a dozen capes now that none of my girls wear. I must admit that I was disappointed to see the PvP requirement to complete the achievement but PvP is part of this game and ArenaNet seems determined to get us to try it.

Same thing happened to me a few months ago. Login crashed, then it said invalid password then it wanted SMS authentication. I had to send an email. It was sorted out fairly quickly after answering some questions to prove it was me. As far as I could tell my account wasn't touched.

I turn the sound off when crafting. Between the noise from some of the crafting benches and the endless repetitive NPCs it gets very annoying.

The idea here is that one has to play the whole game or do without. It doesn't affect the way you have been playing so that's fine. I don't do raids, strikes or fractals. (I have a list of reasons that no one is interested in reading.) So I have done without legendary armor, weapons and trinkets. I told myself "oh well. I don't raid so I don't need those things. I can have all ascended stuff." Now the turtle comes along and it is strike gated. Again I tell myself "oh well. I play solo so I don't need this mount. I probably won't use it much." The thing that concerns me.... is this the direction ArenaNet is going now? Locking the shiny, new, buy the expansion toys behind this type of gameplay. I really hope not because I'm not sure how long I can keep telling myself "oh well" and continue to be happy playing this game.

I got the turtle pet and they are fun though occasionally mine seems to forget that it is suppose to be helping. I'm shooting like crazy and there's no pet. I look around and its off eating grass which I guess is a bug but it adds to its charm.

Yes, I thought the same and had a couple of alts starting the story. When I realized that they were only getting junk as rewards I pulled them out. I've never seen so many broken lockpicks drop.

I turned 67 the day this expansion was released. Great birthday present. I've been playing online games apparently longer than you have been alive. I don't do raids or strike missions, not because I can't learn the mechanics. Its because of this type of attitude.

I found the keyboard direction keys?...., keyboard arrow keys?... not sure what their proper name is.... work great.

I started Skyscale over a year ago and made the mistake of Googling the requirements, got over whelmed and shelved it. I decided to finish it this month and got my Skyscale 3 days ago. After playing with it I have to admit I wouldn't do it again. After that huge grind I'm not that impressed with it which is sad because I was really looking forward to having it.

I can't log in either. It said I had set up a SMS Authentication for access, I did not. Now I'm getting an undefined error and its saying my ArenaNet log in password is invalid.

I've had a few similar issues since I've been playing. The worst ones, from a you lose point of view, is when my character got mobbed in the Silverwastes. She was pounced on so hard she was pushed below ground level. Another time she was smashed to the wrong side of a rock wall. Funny thinking about it now, though I wasn't overly amused at the time.

One of the very first online games I played, 22 or 23 years ago now (sheesh), was a very strict RP game. You had to RP the whole time you were online. As a female player I just could not RP a male. One of my many failings I guess. Anyway that has stayed with me so I still always play a female.

I find that I get enough armor drops to keep my gals outfitted. I put an outfit on them to hide the ugly mismatching. However getting the right weapon type to drop is a little tougher. So I buy better weapons every 10 - 15 levels.

My PC has been in the shop 3 days for repairs and I just got it back today. Seems I missed this whole thing. Not sure if I'm relieved or dissapointed.

I personally wouldn't play as an orc but I have no issue with them being a playable race.

I don't have the Skyscale or Warclaw. Of the ones I do have, the raptor is my favorite for just travelling around the map. It is the most used of all my mounts. I never use the beetle, all I do is crash the thing,
