I got to Crystal Oasis, ported to Windswept Haven and got to the vineyard before I got kicked. Then I was back at Crystal Oasis and I've been booted every time I try to log in now

I got into the first instance of the new LS, was following (redacted) through the very pretty (redacted) and lost connection, now I can get to character select but not load a character (tried the character in the LS, a character in Desert Highlands, and a character in DR's VIP area).

Sorry, I rarely log onto these forums anymore, but I have to say something valuable and of importance:

This company again proved itself to be incapable of launching a new episode.

It's the same error over and over again, with every new episode. You enter the very first instance and get disconnected. Then you cannot log in with that account anymore. One would think after making the same mistakes 3 or 4 times, something will change, but it doesn't.

Maybe don't make big announcements and hype players up if you cannot deliver.

When the last episode was released, there were connectivity problems then too. I had just come back to the game after years away, and was making my way through Kessex Hills when I got disconnected. I was never able to connect with that specific character again without the game immediately crashing. All my other characters were fine.

I ended up deleting her since nothing I tried would correct the problem. I've since leveled another new character to 80 and I'm working my way through HoT, but I still regret having to delete that other character since she was one I created when I first started the game and I would've gotten the 5-year birthday gift on her if she was still around.When I heard about the next episode being released today, I made sure to run the new dailies last night right after the reset and plan to stay offline until I'm sure the game is stable. I've become way too attached to this new character to risk losing her too. :)

In their defense, they launched 8 LW2, 6 LW3, and 2 LW4 episodes without much issue. Last patch they got aggressive with a really intricate instance that the servers couldn't handle and was missed in internal testing since it only appeared at scale. I don't know what the issue is with this patch, but clearly from last episode they're trying to max out what they can do with the engine, which isn't a bad thing if they could scale it to all players.

Anet wants to milk us with more “quality” skin content instead of fixing the issues for every oatch!
