Do something about pulls

Stupidest mechanic ever put into a game. They don't even need to be able to see you, they can pull you from a mile away, over a wall, straight into the middle of a group that will kill you before the GCD comes off your cc immunity.

All pulls should put a 3s cc immunity and damage immunity on the player being pulled. Make it so players a least have a chance to react after one of these stupid pulls. Or better still, just take them out of the game. Or at least make it so you actually need line of sight to be able to do them. As it stands it's gameplay designed by trolls, for trolls.

No, learn which specs have them and how to play around them. a.k.a. get good scrub

Yeah mean like arrows going beyond 1500 range, yeah I'm sure they'll get right on that.

This too is another Toxic design mechanic that Anet continue to tolerate. Many of us including myself has pointed this out to Anet since day 1. Anet solution; Increase it more and give it access to the other Profession including in game mobs.

Instead Anet of giving Guild Wars 2 a serious competitive scenery to the gaming industry...while other competitive game companies treat their game as competitive, Anet treat Guild Wars 2 as a Gimmick game play.

The former Anet of Guild Wars 1 gave the new Anet a serious gaming platform;  that attracts hard-core and casual player who are serious about competition. The new Anet took Guild Wars platform and attract it to a circus show.

The circus scenery where players are being yanked around...in circles like a yo-yo toy...pulled up to the air and whipped to the ground to the ground like a human cannon and a circus whip.

Think about those scenery and ask yourself, why Esport never took Guild Wars 2 serious??

If you were in charge of hosting Esport; would you bring the circus to your competitive arena?

God Forbid, if you thought that Guild Wars 2 players were dressed in clown uniforms

Apparently ANet wants pull to be a thing in WvW just like giving knockdown to 99% of the trash mobs. I remember they even reworked Gale Song to remove Minor Eye of the Storm so that Tempest has no protection from pulls. They are not aware that usually there are like a gazillion pulls in a zerg. That trait skill can only block one pull but no, not even one block is allowed. I am beginning to believe that they don't play their game at all, their decisions are all based on complaints and theory crafting 🤷‍♀️

It will be best not to change or buff anything please. A favourable change or minor buff always followed by a hefty price later.

if you need a trait to block enemy players from casting skills on you maybe wvw is not the gamemode for you 🫣

the game used to have a lot more passive traits that saved players from cc and damage, but most of them have been removed by popular demand. people want to fight players in wvw, not traits. people will do a whole entire pvp on top of you and that's OK, that's the mode 🤠

if it's not OK with you, can always play another gamemode where no one is going to do a pvp on top of you ☺️

Honestly a player should be immune to ccs for 3 secs after being successfully pulled, this allows people to use their pulls and capitalize on them but also removes the bs pull....pull....pull.....pull.....pull that occurs if a players skillfully uses their cc negating skills when being pulled, it's a poor design as it is as the blob will obviously have more pulls than the player has cc negation in its own kit.

They reduced mesmer pull range by 300. There aren't that many other things that can pull you over  a wall.

They literally just nerfed the mesmer pull, focus 4, temporal curtain. No one complaining about baby gates though?

Temporal Curtain has a huge visual tell, and there is a full second before Into the Void can be used to pull.  It's also blockable, doesn't work on mounted enemies, and Stability also protects you.
