Simpler Outfits

Recommended Posts

There are a few others. The Sunspear was a good simple, heavy look. Few of the converted tonics are okay (though I'd like them to make me a hybrid of individual clothing pieces I used to wear as a single outfit, but I digress). Nature's Oath is fun. Monk's is another.

Having said that, there are some great outfits NPCs have. I'd like the dark overalls with the white short sleeved shirt some of the human female blacksmiths wear in Queensdale, I think it was.

I'd love to have an athletic outfit for my daredevil. Also a kind of casual outfit that's somewhat similar to town clothes/wedding outfits but would look different and would have emblems based on what god/spirit/legion/college/cycle you picked when you made your character (ex. human picks Grenth in character selection, a grenth emblem would appear on their outfit)

Yes, but they're old and don't dye well.

Personally, I don't enjoy flashy ornate outfits. I prefer something that both fits in lore, and looks trendy. A lot of gw2 outfits look more like in universe cosplay, kind of like turning up to work irl in a batman costume...

yes please! give us new ways to get the old town clothes! why not have them? we've been asking them for years, they're already there! just add the goddamn tonics as a reward or sell them in the crownstore!and more simple outfits would be amazing, i don't want a fucking shining armor, or spiky shoulderpads with dark energy, i want simple, sleek designs!

how do you by town clothes for BL statuettes? i'm interested, but not as good considering, you get a random amount of them when opening chests, so it's not as easy as actually buying them from the gemstore

do you remember how much does it cost?

Click the link for 'historical'

Here:

Looks like 20 statuettes.

Having them available occasionally for 20 statuettes each isn't exactly ideal unless you're the type of person who buys keys regularly and always has spare statuettes to use. If you just want the outfit it's quite expensive and you could be waiting a long time for them to be available. It would be nice if there was another option too, like there is with other stuff offered for statuettes. Most of it is also available directly in the gem store as well.

exactly my thoughts :) I odn't like random stuff, or casino like strategies. I want to be able to buy what I want, not a chance at getting what I want.

@kharmin.7683 said:Well, to me, it is the same concept of the gem shop with artificial scarcity. I believe it is intended for people to purchase more keys to open more chests and get statuettes to have ready for when items cycle back.

Well yeah and no. It has in common that this not always available. But there's another variable, that you never know how many statuettes, and therefore how many keys you're going to need to buy to get it.
