  1. Spellbreaker is my favorite spec. Axes and GS. Strength defense. It can solo almost anything, but it's not easy and comes down to timing. I run mostly zerker gear with a bit of extra toughness. 2.6k. 20khp I was just doing some group events in Orr with it. Almost died a few times, but it's all about pace and timing. Got er done in the end. And it was lots of fun.
  2. But we Warriors will make it happen... Just like we made sure the devs addressed our concerns coming into EoD....
  3. If you run trashsaber in PvP, don't expect to win. It's fun for running around in PvE for a bit, but it's not a spec that was designed for PvP. If they buff the coefficient to reasonable levels, it'll probably be too strong again silver and gold players. It's mechanics are just not made for PvP or wvw. Better to ask for buffs to spellbreaker, core warrior and zerker.
  4. Very nice. Gunsaber stow is the only change that's essential. The rest is just number tuning. Although I'm still excited for a future support spec elite spec for warrior. One day...
  5. Warruir is overperforming... I'm so glad that balance patches are made without any considering to class. Just blanket nerfs across the board regardless of the pervious balance.
  6. I'm going to race the download, race back home from work...then relax when I play... 😜
  7. Ya it's one dimensional. And yes spellbreaker is more fun. But it's not as boring as many other specs to me. Because it's a bad kitten Warrior. I'll certainly play around it when I want a change of pace. (Literally)
  8. My gf asked me why I still play warrior the other day. And it's because I still find spellbreaker to be the most fun open world spec in the game. Even in PvP and wvw it is somewhat fun. Charging into melee and timing your counters for big damage never gets old. I just wish they'd revert the CC nerfs and bring back some actual damage to the counter. And hammer skills. (But keep hammer 2 buffs, it might actually be viable and it's one of my favorite weapons!)
  9. Warrior may be bruised and beaten, but it won't stop me from smashing my enemies over the head with a hammer. (Even if it now deals 10 damage...) I think if they removed a lot of the damage on CC nerfs for warrior, I'd be happy again with my options. Ps: let us stow the gunblade.
  10. Strange isn't it... I was really hoping to see some clues over the changes. I guess we find out tomorrow if any of the feedback was considered out of second bladesworn beta. I doubt it though... But hey, at least the spec is kind of fun. But incomplete and without a new niche.
  11. Warrior mains who wanted something other than another damage spec: *Pikachu Face*
  12. Bulls charge range reduced to 130m but damage increased by 1000% in PvP & wvw. Throw bola changed from immobilized to snared. Headbutt damage reduced to 0.01 but now deals DOUBLE damage when you have stability. It still stuns you, but DOUBLE damage!!!! Oh wait... They already did that. Rush will now select a target at random. Specter utility skills all teleport... And have two changes. Burst skill Earth Shaker now deals triple damage to already stunned targets. PvP only...
  13. I dream of spvp support. That and an update to bladesworn. 😥 One day... One day....
  14. Thanks Mate. I hope so too, still testing out the different mods and seeing which ones we enjoy.
  15. Thanks Anet for keeping us up to date with the changes...🙃 There's still time to give us an update, I may buy it still if I like what I hear. Although I can also wait to see YouTube videos and see the changes that way, come release. I'm glad the elite specs don't seem too poorly balanced, as a former PvP and wvw vet, but otherwise, I'd need a bit more to sell this expansion to me. I hope there's an update for us to read up on, but I've pretty much given up hope on that now. I hope the expansion is a success, despite those of us not participating. I'll be in The Gandarean Fields...😂
  16. It's funny, but fishing would be the thing I'm most excited about to. I just can't justify the cost of fishing for the price. Not a fan of the rest so far unfortunately. But if my gunblade was replaced with a fishing pole (fish-blade), I'd probably give it a shot as well!😂 They could even call it Gon-blade for the hunter x hunter fans!🙃
  17. I'm launching a new server in March if you're still enjoying 7 days by then. ❤️ That game just keeps satisfying me and you can play it any way you want in any version since release. (Aka, don't like an update, just change the game to your liking. Best game ever made imo!) We play hardcore usually, single death, but I'm not sure the server settings just yet. Expect hardcore experience, as I too like to RP in all my games and 7 days where you just respawn and have no challenge from a zombie apocalypse that killed everyone else doesn't do it for me. Enjoy both games and I hope you decide to join then!😁
  18. But you can keep playing the game and even support them in other ways. I don't plan to quit GW2, but I'd be lying to say I've ever felt the urge to replay a strike mission or a dragon response mission. There has been no content in the last few years I've been eager to replay. Shame really, but the core game, HoT and occasionally PoF offer a lot of fun. Maybe I only play an hour per week now, compared to previously when I would play 5-6 hours per week, but I'm not going to stop playing cause I no longer enjoy the story or new content group play. Most of that used to be playing competitive, so lucky for me, with it being something I may only play a game per season now (instead of enjoying grinding to my final chest), I won't have to get beaten down much by the new elite specs. Maybe if competitive was good again, maybe I'd feel tempted. But there's plenty of fun to be had in this game. And I'll continue to buy things I want and enjoy from the game. Just wish this expansion was one of them. But enjoy it! I will spend most of my gaming on other games, dipping in when I want to explore the amazing world of GW2.
  19. Saving the money, I would've otherwise spent. 😂 But if I ever do buy it, probably fishing. I do enjoy wandering around the open world and giving me something extra to do will be nice. Not 30$ nice, but still, I won't pretend I wouldn't want to try it and see if it's calming like wow fishing, which I really enjoy. Just sit back for a few minutes and catch some fish while I roll a cheeseburger.🙄
  20. Let me be clear, since there doesn't seem to be any clear goal by anet to address my concerns over bladesworn. I will not be buying this expansion until bladesworn can weapon stow their gunblade. That is all. I welcome others to make statements over what is stopping them from buying EoD. Personally, if I get bored with what I'm doing now in game, I may buy it one day when it's on sale for less than 20$. For now, I just want to have fun in PvP and this game has just turned to kitten for competitive game modes. Luckily the game 7days to die is keeping me busy until this company can remember their competitive community. There's a lot more I want, but this is my rule I'm laying down. PvP on warrior lives and die by the stow and I'm not jumping through hoops to try and enjoy my mains new espec. Ps: I played almost 50 hours of bladesworn already during beta. I know what I want from it. And I'm fed it with the silence.
  21. Any updates? I'd love to know if Bladesworn got a ranged weapon finally. Off-hand melee pistol is alright, but pair it with a ranged main hand pistol. When will we be able to sheath the gunblade? I'd love to know this. Looking forward to an update!
  22. Scourge, Staff Tempest, Staff Mirage, Condi Necro are probably the most caster like specs that are viable. Basically, the scholar classes can be played as casters.
  23. Harbinger is the only real martial arthritis.
  24. Thief and Ele work too. So 6/10 aint so bad.
