  1. It's odd that the hatched chilis don't have a consume option like other similar living world currency items. Converting excess chilis into volatile magic would make sense.
  2. Your lists were a good summary. One con I'd also add is that the Hatched Chilis currently cannot be consumed for volatile magic. I'm really hoping that was an oversight that will soon be corrected.
  3. Really liking Grothmar Valley. It brings back memories of Grothmar Wardowns which was one of my favorite GW1 maps. I had been wishing the prologue would have come with a similarly themed lounge area too with a mixture of autumn and winter themed areas.
  4. I'm hoping there's a new lounge coming our way that sits on the border of charr lands and norn lands, so some of it is autumn-themed and some of it is winter-themed, similar to that outpost in GW1 that was on the west side of Grothmar Wardowns.
  5. Kudos to the artists who came up with these. I'm liking a lot of the mounts in this set and am pleased with my purchases. I've been collecting the flame-themed and ice-themed mounts when they arrived so I picked up that skyscale and beetle. I think the flame skyscale also goes well with a blue-flame dye arrangement. I also picked up the lithosol and geode raptors and those are very nice.
  6. Sometimes when I see a situation that isn't going well, I often say in my best Trahearne voice: "This won't end well".
  7. Personally I wouldn't put revamping the guild hall arena high on the priority list. I know it may be important to some, but just speaking for myself and our guild, we typically would use Armistice Bastion for that type of thing.
  8. Agreed this is a very nice outfit. Personally I did not like the gasmask, so I didn't buy this outfit. But I know everyone's tastes vary, and there have been plenty of other outfits I liked enough to purchase.
  9. We shouldn't disparage people for asking for options. It's up to Anet to decide the viability of implementation. I'd tend to agree that the facet sound is annoying, and I'd like to be able to turn it off without impacting any other sounds (such as player instrumentation.) If Anet thinks adding such an option is too costly, that's fine. But I still think it's worth voicing an opinion.
  10. My primary reaction to the idea is that I'm not a fan. I can only see this being doable if the random kill can only happen to players who have also consumed the item. Kind of like a combat tonic where you can only fight people who are participating, this kill effect should only impact participants.
  11. Agreed. I really like the Skyscale a lot, but the one thing I've been a bit unhappy with is the difficulty getting the dismount attack to land where I want it to. I'm getting better at it with practice, but it still feels a bit like luck.
  12. Fun video - thanks for posting! Looking forward to having my Skyscale soon.
  13. I'm curious which items will reset and require stats to be re-selected. Unless I go through all my characters now and make notes, I'm probably going to forget what all combinations I've put together. I'm hoping nothing I have equipped will be in the category of things that get reset.
  14. I like how Dragonfall is primarily player-driven rather than on a clock timer. Also even though I don't like requiring Mistborn Keys to open the Mistborn Coffers because it seems like I'm always short on keys, I think I understand why they did it that way. If coffers could be freely opened I think it would drive people to map-hop looking for the final meta event, or else encourage leechers to wait around until the final event. By requiring keys, it encourages participation in the build-up events where keys are earned.
  15. Agreed. Dragonfall combines mechanics from previous maps in a way that still seems a coherent whole and works well. The artwork is top notch and there's never a lack of action or something to participate in. First impressions mean a lot, and my first impression of this map is fully positive.
  16. Agreed I enjoyed the story, the cinematics, and how everything tied together. I liked Braham's final comment when you walk away from him at the end. It implies he's finally dealt with his grief. This entire episode has been amazing in my opinion. The story, the map, the events - kudos to the dev team on this release. Nicely done!
  17. Seeing the same issue. I couldn't figure out why my banners would disappear immediately and the skill would go on cooldown.
  18. I was glad to see that was coming too - of all the features people have asked for over the years, build templates has to have been near the top of the list of most-requested.
  19. This was my favorites part of the write up. If all rangers used Point Blank Shot intelligently (when it was appropriate) it would cut down on a lot of angst.Nice work on these write ups!
  20. I like the sound my Reaper's greatsword makes when using skill #3 Death Spiral. It has a satisfying sound that goes well with the skill and animation.
  21. The Dreamer Herald facet "organ" sound (And agreed with those that mentioned repeated tome of knowledge use - amazing we don't have a "consume all" for those yet)
