YtseJam.9784 Posted August 26, 2021 Share Posted August 26, 2021 Skyscale: Toggle keybind for grabbing on every wall This is something that has annoyed me since day 1 of skyscale being released. It just grabs on EVERYTHING. Having a keybind to toggle/disable grabbing on everything would make it way more pleasant experience. I think it would be a great way to update the home instance as well because for a home instance some of them feel more like a home neighborhood than your actual home. Philapa.3842 Posted August 26, 2021 Share Posted August 26, 2021 (edited) I gave up and changed my resolution so I can read, but it makes the graphics messy and zoomed in. The ui for the bags, and other menus are huge which is not needed, but it did help with the boons too, not sure if the action bar needs to be that large? I wanted to avoid it, but for now it will have to suffice. I really hope they notice this as an important QoL change needed. Now with EoD coming, we will lose the PoF log in screen. Here's an idea Anet: Let us customise and choose the log in screen, maybe even randomise it or have it change based on whether you most recent character is in a Core Tyria, HoT, PoF or EoD map. I know it is just pointless flavour thing, but come one. give us changeable long in screens. Why nobody thought of this yet? Let's have this epic theme back on log in. That's all. Thanks. Please Dev's take a look at the achievement panel. It is a complete mess. With the upcoming EoD we will have 34 + EoD achievementpanels in the story journal section alone. It is also weird that story of heart of thornes isnt in the heart of thornes droppanel. The Return to Living story Sections will add almost 20 panels.. Suggestion: Add vertical tabs for every expansion. Example (<-- example of vertical tabs in guildwars2) Split all living story with their corrosponding expansion achievements into big tabs (As you need the expansion to play the living story) Then all achievements that belong to those expansions + living story into those vertical tabs. (collections, story, sidestory. masteries, specializations, maps, bosses etc.) When A player hasnt bought the expansions, this tab will be locked, blinding the player for possible spoilers. Would it be possible to change the ride underwater automatically to skimmer, as we can't use any other mount. An option to disable them entirely (even from other players) would be much appreciated. Come on, even ANet doesn't like those effects. Have you ever seen them in ANY trailer or promo material? It means that 7 new fractals can be created, here are ideas: 1- Battle of Lion's arch: Closing portals/stopping misama then killing Syngergetics/statics/dynamic knight to end on the breachmaker by killing Scarlet prime hologram. 2- Mallyck journey. Cover the lost story arc of mallyck from Hot, it implies following a path in the maguuma forest fighting several mordrem foes. You found out mallyck tree, overrun by mordrems. It ends by fighting an imposant foes like axemasters in verdant brink/Hot Story can also involve nightmare court, one of the only evil faction not used in fractals. 3- A fractal implying Tengus. With cantha coming and EOD this would be a great addition, fighting creature like the jade maw or strange octopus/squid creatures, tentacles horrors in sum. To complete Solid ocean which is only jade quarry. 4- Skritt expedition inspired fractal, could see the story from another side, helping skritts fighting asura who want to capture them, finding an unexpected alliance with Hyleks or I dunno a quest to find shinies guarded by powerful foes. 5- Almorra soulkeeper recon squad when she wasn't leader of vigil and saw her warband branded. This is an awesome story to cover. 6-A fractal implying seraphs and centaurs? A stronghold? Could cover the unexplored woodland area: Centaurs unslaved humans, seraph get help from jotuns to fight them. 7-A mist based fractal. Could exploit the unused Utopia lore, involving the hub of time and random missions of stabilizing rifts, hunting for monstruosity tearing apart the place, melting several environments together like dragonfall how rift baubbles worked in jahai. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
cloudsareyum.8120 Posted August 29, 2021 Share Posted August 29, 2021 (edited) Make it so that legendary weapon's stats are not reset and upgrades are not removed on weapon swap, but instead once we select it, the stats and upgrades are tied to that particular equipment set, as if it was an ascended weapon. At current, every time one unequips the legendary weapon, it removes all stat selections and upgrades to inventory; in some cases the upgrades can cause encumbrance if the player's backpack is too full. Example: I have 3 stacks of Casino Coins, I want to Right Click > 'Deposit All' to move them to item storage, taking up bank slots as if I double clicked each stack one by one. This would allow players to trade bags to different crafters wthin the same account to upgrade the item, otherwise, its stuck forever as a 24 slot with no way to upgrade. So say for permanent Hairstyle it could be transformed into permanent total makeover or just make a new one... Alchimist.4738 Posted August 30, 2021 Share Posted August 30, 2021 It has been two years since the introduction of build templates, so I don't have too much hope left, but with a new expansion on the horizon and the introduction of new elite specializations, the current builds are going to be even more diverse, meaning switching between builds through the template system is going to be even more important. However, as you may know, both equipment templates and build templates are character specific and not account wide, which is extremely inconvenient. At this point it's actually cheaper to buy more character slots to get three new build templates and two equipment ones than buying those two options, particularly if you own a lot of legendary. It's not only bad for us the player, because I'd rather have less characters but more builds on one of them, but it's also pretty bad for sells, as anyone doing a little research will quickly learn it's more valuable for them to get more character slots than buying templates.
