  1. Anets left hand often doesn't know (or care) what the right hand is doing. They often change things for no added benefit or to outright annoy their customers.
  2. I don't like the new daily setup. Its mostly a trade off with what we had before instead of some wholesale improvement. I wish Anet hadn't wasted development time creating it.
  3. Roamer..... squad of roamers.... A zerg is just a single big group of roamers at this rate. Roaming, to me, means I'm out on my own. Which is what I do.
  4. Bought ten just for giggles. Not my cup of tea so they just sit in storage. Wish we could just sell them.
  5. If they had some dedicated resources than things would be in a lot better place. However, I'm sure that any WvW specific work is always the first to go when their every changing priorities uhhhh change.
  6. Everyone gets to play how they want and not how any one of us want them to play.
  7. I tried 4 of them and didn't see any change from the three. I'll buy a few more (have enough for a dozen more, but don't really need them) and see if that makes a difference.
  8. I have several of them and swapped the stats on a few, works with any power and condi. Haven't made other stats, but I'd wager it'll work with them too.
  9. I'd like to see a few more guild slots provided. I'm not sure what the technical limitation might be, but as a user feature, it'll help some and hurt nobody aside from opportunity cost of the resources.
  10. Could buy 16 of them. Decided on 4 of them for now. Wish I could sell some.
  11. Sorry, did a spit take. GW2 being a corner stone of the game (lies), you'd think, would accelerate alliances (lie of omission that they're spending any time on it). Tengu as a race would be fun for a few minutes. They'll probably put their whole team on it and after much time and silence, they'll release a new fishing hole by the Tengu wall in LA.
  12. They'll get around to the bot infestation in about the same amount of time its taken them to implement alliances in wvw...... oh, yeah, its been over five years and we don't have squat......
  13. Anet lives by the wvw development moto: Don't just do something! Stand there!!
  14. WvW is one of the few areas of the game (and certainly the largest) where they lie to our faces and then say nothing when called out on it.
  15. Anet always has a blob first mentality. Changes benefit the blob and, maybe, sometime after everything is given a passing glance. Want credit for structure? Go kill a guard. Go to spawn, wait (maybe hours) for someone to take it and viola, you get credit. Defend said structure, disable siege, harass attackers, do callouts, repair walls - tough luck, no credit for you.
  16. I don't care if they communicate any more. We get half truths and exaggerations on a good day. As a company, Anet makes a great combat system but their customer relations are as bad as anyone out there.
  17. This change is the best Anet's intern could do in the five minutes they were given to work on WvW. I'm sure they have folks who want to do more, but its clear they're not given the time to do it. I'm old. Been developing software for nearly four decades. I know abandonment when I see it.
  18. Repeat until blue in the face (unless you're a blue faced sylvari, then go green) Anet will always nerf defense and buff the boon ball. Why? Because the few Anet employees who walk into WvW always follow a blob commander. They listen to only them and make changes that only benefit them. Anyone else doing the little things get jack squat and that's how its always been.
  19. Anet hasn't invested anything appreciable into WvW in general or Alliances in particular. Maybe a few weeks of one developers time here and there, but they've been stringing us along the whole time. If it mattered, they would have done something about it. Instead, when they do make changes, its to help their blob commander friends happier.
  20. They should get rid of tower and keep captures in the same way. No players defending? No credit for the cap. Anet is all about nerfing defense. Holding off the zerg as best a couple of us can, but help was late. No defense for us, but credit to the zerg. Anet listens to the blob commanders and the blob commanders only.
  21. Anet never stopped investing everywhere but wvw. They toss an intern at it once in a while to give us a few nothing burgers.
  22. Anet employees play in the blob. Changes they make will help the blob.
