The day their annoying behaviour becomes too much to bear, they will be wiped off the face of Tyria. Of course there will be some survivors. Asura kept in farms to create those delicious offspring. Even their oh-so-mighty golems can be easily deafeted by a single sylvari doing nothing but asking questions - about turtles and mothers. So.. no chance. Knuckle Joe.7408 Posted August 5, 2018 Share Posted August 5, 2018 The only thing that might bother you by using a short race is that flashy weapons and armor are nearly imperceptible to other people, so if you worked hard for that legendary, an asura will not flaunt it like a norn or a charr (models get scaled down depending on char size). It was considered exceptional, but that was because they didn't think a sylvari could do it, or that anyone would want to study with all 3 colleges. They can't defend against an elder dragon without the other races. How's that for not being as high and mighty as they themselves think they are? Rule the other races because Asura are best? They're just a part of the equation, not the solution. As long as they're living that delusion, their only fate is reality catching up with them. For the Asura, their intellect and technology for sure is an upside, but their superiority complex is also holding them back. Asura don't cooperate well and are usually out going for their own personal greatness only. Much like different giant pharma concerns working sepperately to cure a desease, because each wants to be the first that does it, doesn't help as much as a cooperated effort would. Also, Asura tend to take huge risks in the name of science and also overestimate their capabilities, which of course leads to "funny accidents" that have probably killed/crippled/transformed/vaporized/sent to a different plane of existence thousands of Asura since. Now they are surrounded by elite dragon minions (the best of them all. Take that Zhaitan!) and some think they stand a chance? Even worse, the minions of the dragon of mind - I would expect a lot of insane (more insane) asura too. Insane asura that will be used as nature intended: delicious snacks.
